INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD

Growing up, for my siblings and I , our parents never paid for Christmas parties or for visits to Santa Claus. My parents always felt that it was a rip off.

So I spent Christmas party day at home. I usually felt left out and would always tell myself I will always make sure my kids don’t miss out on their own Christmas parties. I really felt I was missing out especially when my friends wore the plastic glasses they got from Santa.

“I Don born” now and I also strongly believe that Christmas parties are rip offs. First thing is that you see the Santa Clauses in my own place here, don’t deserve the name.

Their costumes are horrible, na them be “Father Christmas”. Virtually every toddler that goes in to the grotto comes out screaming and scared. They are terrifying and just end up traumatising the children.

I will also not be paying for Christmas parties for my kids too, maybe I will see one that is very organised with a good looking Santa Claus that will change my mind but till then I stand with my parents on this.

RE -UPDATE ON 100k BUSINESS GIVEAWAY.

Someone commented yesterday that the BV wh gave update was trying to use lies to get some money off me or so because she narrated how she invested the 100k she got.....

OMG i saw her in a video tending to the birds and they are big indeed... She kept them well and fed them well.....

She wont be needing the advert i offered her cos she said her birds are selling out on ground and putting up an advert would not be right cos shes almost sold out.. Her birds are really big and look healthy. She does not need another giveaway and was just updating me.. She no send me to post oooh...

Now these are the kinds of people one should invest in and gladly so. I know how many people have collected money to do poultry business from me on this Blog and vanished into thin internet air (LOL).... So i choose to celebrate the one that showed up....

Well done babe... you have made me proud!

 -Know that human beings are god’s on earth and that in this material world, you will need the help of man. Thus, endeavour to cultivate values of integrity and honesty to make man trust you. Remember that no matter how fervent you are in prayers, you will need the cooperation of man.


 -Lazy hands makes for poverty and diligent hands brings prosperity. Remember that lazy hands could also be a tired mind or an uneducated mind and diligent hands does not only mean physical diligence, it is also mental emancipation.

-Know that a bias is deficiency in thinking. Then, survivorship bias means the focus on the success of one survivor, overlooking the plethora of flaws in that matter. Remember that a fool is parted with his gold, thus do your due diligence before investing into anything. Use your wisdom. Use your knowledge. Use your sense.

-Summer is the season of sowing. In your life, you must understand your seasons. There is a time to plant and a time to reap. Wisdom today says, in the summer of your life, make sure you are sowing and working. Build capacity that will sustain you in your winter season. 

Remember that every path you take has it’s price and you will pay full price.

THE SECRET OF 25 YEARS OF MARRIAGE WITHOUT A FIGHT

A man and his wife never fought for 25 years of their marriage.
A friend asked him how he had managed to make it possible.
He narrated:

"We went for our Honeymoon in Australia 25 years ago
and while riding on a horse,
My wife's horse jumped and my wife fell down.
She got up,patted the horse's back and said
"This is your first time"

After a while it happened again.
She patted the horse again and said:
"This is your second time"

The horse did it again the 3rd time,
She brought out a gun and shot the horse dead

I Was so shocked and I shouted at her. . . . . . . ."Are you crazy! What's wrong with you? Why did you kill the horse?
She smiled at me and said

SWIFT TO HEAR; SLOW TO SPEAK; SLOW TO ANGER

I came home from work, tired. I sat down on the sofa and put my feet up. My wife brought me a glass of water. My son gave me a sheet of paper and I read through:

English 17%
Biology 35%
Mathematics 40%
Physics 37%
Chemistry 42%
Economics 12%
Agriculture. 19%
Geography 22%

Suddenly, I lost my temper and started shouting: "What is this? All the time you are on phone and TV! How dare you bring me such marks? How dare you?"
My wife said: "Be patient. Listen...." But I interjected, "Shut up! It's your love and pampering that have spoilt him. He is no good and never serious at all!"

My Wife said: "Oh,really?"

I shouted: "No one in our family has performed so badly, ever!"

My son said: "Dad, I am sorry I made you angry. I was cleaning the old cupboard and I found this. It is your old school report card, dated 27th July, 1977 sir." I looked at the top and it was actually my own report sheet. 

My name was boldly inscribed on it!

I became humbled, gentle and dumbfounded. Imagine the atmosphere afterwards. Calmness in the air. With a foolish grin on my face, I replied, "Son, you know, in those days, food was scarce."

MORAL OF THE STORY

As our children will be coming home with their reports cards, let us sit down with them, talk and plan with them for next year's improvement. Lets not shout at or abuse them at all.




Some flog their kids and make them go through hell for not taking first in class but they only took last when they were in school.....Pikin resembul you for Intelligence, you go dey beat am?
