Ghetto much? Most people have been robbed of their personal belongings/valuables and nothing was done really according to what they said.

Stop flaunting expensive valuables on the streets of London and you sure will be glad you did.

Lai Mohammed warned you guys fa but you were hellbent on calling him unprintable names.

    1. Eyah sorry, this is why I don't pity thieves.
You gathered money, went to market, walked everywhere buying goods only to put it on barrow and the guy ran with it feeling smart.
Thrives deserve whatever judgement that's melted on them when caught..

      Sorry okay 🤗

  6. When I tell people that Nigeria can be safer than the West , people don’t believe me. The only country , I have felt really safe is in Dubai, but not free from human rights violations. The time my brother came to Jand and he was going to club that night, I told him, to be careful that London is like an extension of Lagos, he nor hear! His brand new phone was stolen from his jacket in the club. Then in Yankee , you can be hit by stray bullet in the Bronx or in any rough downtown zones or could be mugged because of a Nike shoes. Appreciate Nigeria, because the peace of mind in some areas, especially outside Lagos can’t be quantified!!!

    1. Crime here is known by all because 🇺🇸is the culturally dominant country on the planet with CNN, Youtube, Twitter, Instagram, FB etc so the optics & the fact that they try to get them solved makes it seem worse. 🇳🇬like some African countries does not provide accurate crime statistics nor do they have law enforcement/forensic tech tools. Just because Toke was a victim of theft doesn’t warrant generalizations that are statistically inaccurate.

The US is 50 states, if California was a country it will be the 6th largest economy in the world, bigger than France while the state of Illinois will be about the size of Switzerland. Imagine 50 states of the union! You can’t compare grapes to watermelon! The top 10 countries in terms of homicides (murder) per 100,000 people doesn’t have the US or any of these western countries but some versions have 🇳🇬 in the top 10 most violent places to live on the planet. 🇳🇬 & some countries take the cake. Aside from the inner cities areas with gang violence in many suburbs crime is lower than Naija. I was a victim of Armed Robbers in Lagos decades ago but God spared us. They visited the house in a group several times even then! Here, I can leave my front door & garage door open & travel for a week and nobody will enter our home. Yes we have too many guns & we hope the politicians can solve this but facts & statistics don’t justify any conclusion that the west or the US is less safe than Nigeria.

“ According to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crimes, Nigeria has 121.8, murders per a million people vs 42.01 murders per million people for the US despite having less than 2 guns per 100 people. The murder rate in 🇳🇬 is 18,422, 42% more than US.

In the case of homicidal crimes per 100,000 people, Nigeria ranked 31, while the United States ranked 59”

Remember the US has a population of over 300million compared to naija’s 200million & 🇳🇬doesn’t keep accurate crime data so if they did what will the actual numbers look like! Yet folks just make inaccurate sweeping generalizations based off of a few incidents.

    2. @ Dante don’t ever come for me, because I gave my opinion as someone who has lived in these countries. I appreciate Nigeria, as much as I am proudly a citizen of the world !!! As for the statistician up there! No one is comparing apples to watermelon, just be careful where ever you go in the world! So your organs are not harvested!!! Valuables can be replaced, but life cannot be replaced. Kpele Americana! Just to let you know that I have lived across the US, from the East Coast to the West Coast. I am currently relaxing myself on an Island in Nigeria and having fun eating fresh seafoods before I jet off again; when my project is complete . God bless you all and Shalom!!! Is very obvious that Nigeria is doing a number to a lot of people!!!

    3. Anon 14:57, take your L and go. Nobody cares about your money. Citizen of the world yet bragging about seafood when serious discussions are being had. Statistician has a valid point. Try countering it with intelligent points instead of island and jet talks. W

    4. Oga seafood, crime is everywhere, and it’s clearly higher in Nigeria than America. If you don’t agree can you counter intelligently?

    5. I don’t know about the world traveler but when I lived in US, I could drive on the road across states at any hour and not fear being kidnapped. I don’t really think people in Nigeria can boast of the same. The real rich folk of Nigeria are securing multiple citizenship for themselves and their children while ur here talking about seafood, really? Be for real and stop being disingenuous and insensitive because there are people in Nigeria really living in fear that cannot escape

    6. Thanks to those that get it👍🏾 The challenge Nigeria faces is that some of the gatecrashers into power & influence have ZERO interest in the collective, only themselves. The “seafood comment” reminds me of the lack of “la RAZA”. Typical of “the religious”, he says “pele Americana” derisively, then says “shalom” after the insult not focusing on the issues. Don’t be carried away, looter politicians & their cronies have a back up plan. Their families are here, they loot money from Nigeria for them to stash or spend here or in Dubai or Western Europe!

Don’t worry about “organ harvesting” in my affluent 🇺🇸sub, worry about you having a simple chest pain or health crisis that takes 6 mins for the ambulance in the west but takes you 8/10 hours via medevac to get to Europe! That’s when you will realize that “seafood on an island” in Nigeria without a solid health care system for the majority among other issues is the mentality that has held back African countries!
