ReplyDeleteThis happened to our staff. He left on GL 12 ,from a federal establishment to become an M.D. in a state institutions on political appointment. Loo and behold he turned around to rubbish his former organisation. Now promotion exam came up today and he came to sit hoping to cone back at the end of his tenure. Is this possible after all he has said and done? Is he not a shame to even sit for the exam. I am hoping he will come back so he will be ridiculed too as those he left behind for M.D. position will have been promoted ahead of him. He may even be removed as the politician that put him in the position tenure will end May 29. End of regime. That's why he took the promotion exam to come back. but he will pay for all the insult claiming he is now a CEO, so too big to relate with former colleagues. His scores were not too good and we have a benchmark before you can be promoted. He doesn't know what awaits him if he should be removed as the CEO.
I am watching . I am so mad he sneaked in to write the exams but I am waiting to see if he will he promoted as he ibom secondment.
He will not find it funny as many people are his senior including me.
He is too arrogant. Common political appointment your head swell. Talking to people including managers anyhow.

DeleteOMG! Watching film with my mum has been hectic. I mean I can never outgrow watching movies/series with a parent 🙄 So late week Thursday I was like mumsi there is this limited series on Netflix by Ini Edo. Mumsi you know Ini Edo right, she was like of course. She said Wow, I was feeling fly and was even explaining that it’s trending in Nigeria and all that. Ok o I put it on and we started watching. The scene were they killed one of the twin girls at the beginning, she was like “Oh! So sorry” and all that shii( in Dante’s voice 🤣)
Then when they showed a girl giving BJ to scar I think, in my mind I was like what’s going on, next they showed topless girls counting money. At that moment my mum was like remove this thing, mad people, people that don’t know God 🤣. Infact give me the remote and sharply I changed to YouTube. Since then I have not brought myself to watch the infamous series. I have a tv in my room with Netflix but can’t seem to watch it. I hardly watch anything in my bedroom sef, it’s either am sleeping or using my phone on the bed.
One day I will finally watch Shanty town and then give my own review

ReplyDeleteWe just installed solar, we are on Easybuy. We paid 50k first payment, to pay the rest on installment for the next 18moths. Everything is almost 300k. I am so happy, we can watch Gotv , the whole house will be lighted(5 flourescent lights) and we can also charge our gadgets without NEPA light and no stress of buying fuel for generator. I will use my own name and phone number to collect solar fan, we need it badly. Hubby used his for the first one. I believe we will pay up for both before one year, cos God is faithful.

I bought half carton of hollandia yogurt and kept in my room so that I will be drinking it small small 🙁 I live in our family house but I have my room , since I bought it and kept in my room 🥶 peace of mind left me 🥺 since then everybody in our house is looking like thief* in my eyes 😔 anyone moving around my room or going inside my room is already a suspect 🥺 last night I was sleeping immediately I started dreaming I saw someone going near my room door with hammer 😳 immediately I wake up and grab the carton of my hollandia yogurt and check if i Lock the door 🥶 na so my sleep take end 😒 when my mom was bathing me in the bathroom immediately I heard my brother asking for hammer 😳 the way I rush out to see what he wants to do with the hammer because my room is always Lock 🥶 my people this what I have been passing through this afternoon I decided to drink all at once ☹️ make I rest abag 😭😭 make I get peace of mind abag, before high BP go ki!! DeleteI am so disturbed. My daughter is in Uk , post studies searching for work, This new law they want to introduce for only 6 months post study is not favourable. It's presently 2 years. And she is still job hunting. She just graduated last December.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't want her to come back to this hell of a country. Infact I was hoping to join her upon retirement. I am abour to retire in 2 years time. She is all I ve got. And i am all she has. We hope the new law will not sail through. And i hope she secures job quickly as she graduated with distinctions. See clapping when she was called to the podium. See Oyibos struggling to take pictures with her. Her colleagues were telling me they were always happy when they put them in same group for class assignment cause she will do it on their behalf.
She is depressed right now. I am going to Uk to see her soon.
This life no balance. She had an offer in nigeria for 800k, almost 1 million naira per month salary ,but she turned it down for Uk. Now see this. And that job is gone since 2021. I am sad.

No need for depression. The UK work system is tough to break for immigrants. I'd suggest she signs up with agencies. The schools are just after the fees intetnational students pay because home students are few. No plans to place them in organizations for good workplace experience and networking. If she tries and it doesnt work out I'd suggest Canada instead of her getting depressed. Wish you all the best with your daughter.

All the naija girls are all beggars with financial problems, looking for who to be collecting money to “solve” it. My brother too just got divorced 3 years ago and he has decided to remain single because every girl he talks to now, is looking at his money or how he will take them abroad. He is an American citizen. My advice to married people now is, biko try and work out the problem in your home. Outside na jungle. These naija girls are all money hungry and instagram followers.

DeleteFailed to listen to that inner voice and i paid for it. Had just 200 on me by the time I left sch, and by my calculations it was to take me to Ojuelegba and then make a withdrawal from any of the banks there. Alas !. Got to ojuelegba the 3 banks I went none was dispensing 🥲. Finally saw one with this long queue. And dispensing The New note. Not minding the long queue, was there ooo till it got to 2 people before me and fiam !!! Money don finish 😭.with no dine on me, started looking for PoS. The 1st one i got to my bank had network wahala haaa, Mogbe🙆 how i wan do? Tried another POS same network issue omo , I felt like 😭. No option than to start trekking o and praying that at least I spot another Pos and probably network restored. Trekking and praying,I spoted another and tried God heard me after the pos lady has tried severally. Na so i collect the money, even though na old notes and trekked back to oju to board a bus.

I am attending a wedding tomorrow and i dont have new naira notes to spray the bride. I did transfer to her today but when she went to ATM to cash she was told, no money.

I told her to exercise patience cause banks have ran out of new notes hence they are not loading their ATM. But its like she is annoyed that if I had told her she would have given another account. But this is not about account, I think it's the issue on ground. They cant load old notes.Most banks are overwhelmed. And they don't want the sanctions by CBN so they are not loading at all. I am sure they will load by now.

DeleteConcerning this new notes, it's really a problem. I have a wedding to attend tomorrow. And i dont have new notes to spray the bride. So I decided to do a transfer. But they can't cash cause when they went to cash the Atm said low in bank balance.
ReplyDeleteI dont know if they have cashed it by now as they are even angry I sent it to that account.
It was supposed to be a surprise as I have that account since 2021 when they needed my help. Transferring is even costing me far more than spraying but it seems she is picking offence.
Now they said if I had told her she would have given another account. But this is not about account but the problem of the moment. Most banks are overwhelmed. No new notes and they cant load old notes to avoid CBN sanctions.
I am confused here upon my good intentions to learn a helping hand to someone in need. No feed back up till now if they have been able to cash the money.
Don't beat yourself too much. You just wanted to surprised her which wasn't a bad intention. This one they're so desperate to withdraw the money,what if you didn't transfer. Abeg you tried and God bless you.

Just found out that there was no court order but my lawyer is charging me big big money to represent me. This issue has suffered me that I now feed from hand to mouth. Another weekend of starvation till salary drops.
