MONDAY IN HOUSE NEWS

 Hailings...

IN HOUSE MEMO

Greetings to everyone this Presidential election week. Please start preparing to vote, like i said in a post last week, move closer to your voting unit in case of anything that might delay or prevent your voting......

Have a wonderful week and stay out of harms way, if you have been inciting people to fall out with each other over who to vote for in the upcoming election, now is the time to stop and allow people to vote who they want to........ I dont even think it is right to announce who you want to vote for, here no one will ask you who you want to vote for or try to twist your mind to vote for their choice, the voting process is not as choking as how Nigerians reduce theirs to... You cannot  threaten anyone for not voting for your candidate, YOU DARE NOT!...

Prepare to go out on Saturday and vote for the candidate of your choice... I don't believe in using the word CONSCIENCE cos Nigerians don't have any conscience at all.

I saw someone telling me to do giveaway which will be collected from POS...that person you try oh...You people should also try and do giveaway, it must not be only me nah.....

Try to give and see how God will bless you beyond belief!
The person who asked in the spontaneous post this Morning if i still do free advert and wants to do free advert for her Uncles new company, my response is LMAO...please go and figure out why i wrote that i am laughing.

That person in my inbox trying to scam me, read this and know that i know your game and have been playing along. it would be easier to pass a camel through the eye of a needle than getting money off me via scam stories....

Those of you who give people money and say you are supporting me on this blog without my knowledge, don't fall to scam and run to my inbox complaining.... If you wanna help anyone, please let me know and i will get you the correct account details... There are people here with various blog IDs and multiple acct details of friends or family waiting..... LOL
The truth will squeeze out money from me rather than lies.

Stay well and stay blessed and remember to spread some love ......
Me sef dey find BV wey go pet me with gift of my choice.....*side eyes* *tongue click*

FROM FRIDAY NIGHT POST

I'm adopted. After pulling all strings to know my biological parents, I'm met with rejections up on rejections.

My parents were gracious enough to give me the orphanage address. I travelled and met with the proprietress, she refused at first, due to documents that were signed. I managed to offer her money, she gave me a name and number, I called and twas my biological granny.

I travelled again to the East, managed to locate her, after some days, she took me my supposed biological dad's house in the same community, he lives large, he wasn't excited to see me, he was all vague and dismissive, when I offered to be in touch, he told my granny not to bring me again.

We left, she now contacted my biological mom, she didn't even want to see me, she's married with kids and based abroad. I collected her contact and tried to establish communication, she told me to move on with my parents, I mean, how can you be so cold to your own child?

All my trip took one month. Came back told my adoptive parents, told them everything, dad looked at me pointedly and said nothing, mom bellowed out laughter, I feel stupid anyway. Lesson learnt.

Sad but now you will learn to appreciate the people who adopted you and gave you love, they feel nothing towards you cos they did not bond or love you.
Even your granny will reject you if you go again!

FRIDAY CHRONICLE POSTER
NARRATIVE ONE

I'm the first chronicle poster. The man in question is my husband and the lady is a spinster who I enjoyed working with some years back so we became a bit closer than just coworkers and for some reasons including our work together, they both have each others contact. I asked this question under a spontaneous post some weeks back and tot it wasn't seen. I'm grateful you posted this Stella.

I had an unusual dream (about my husband) I told him about which then led to him telling me how he asked this lady to hangout with him to which she obliged without asking about me. I got really mad at him but according to him, he was testing her to know the kind of friend she is so he somehow cancelled that meeting without arousing any suspicion from her.

Issue is I never could have expected such from the lady cos I see her as responsible and matured enough plus I'm not one to keep friends and the very few I've had for decades are very responsible, respected, hard-working women. I didn't contact her about this and I want to believe she really meant no harm but somethings are just off limits in my opinion no matter what and this has made me seriously review our friendship.

I just needed to know if I'm just reading meaning to things and overreacting.
Thanks Stella and BVs

Hugs

  1. Since this whole Naira brouhaha started, I have not had cash with me, gave out all my old notes before the first deadline. I have not complained one day! Is it because I’m mobile or because I’ve been doing mostly transfers (just activated my debit card) so I don’t know why the complaints here and there, even Fuel I get it seamlessly! I have learnt something about us Nigerians, we like to panic, rush, do fire brigade approach to things, let’s calm down, it’s one by one, it will always get better or reach your turn!... take my cue and you will see how easy things will be, because in all honesty this is a good policy, let’s just trust the process.

    1. Hello Bro,it’s not that..

Real time network status as at now I’m typing shows almost all banks are down for deposit;less than 30% strength..while debit card like verve and Mastercard is more than 80%..

What this means is that if you walk into a fuel station or mall with your card,it will go through..but if you try to transfer it won’t go through cos the banks are down to accept deposits..

Now how many small shops or businesses have the POS machine??

Almost through Saturday all banks were down, how can small biz owners receive transfer alert? How can you even transfer??

Almost all my neighbours and shops around me at this moment use my POS machine;then it’s recorded for each person,so at the end of the day say from 9pm midnight we check total for each person and transfer to them..

Some have challenges for even using their POS machines;it’s a bit easier for us @GlossyMart cos we have various Terminal from various coy so if this one doesn’t go;we use another..

Now how many POS can an average tomato or pepper seller afford If they decide to get one today?

So that’s the issue bro,not about cash now but network stability..

      Hope this helps..

      @MARTINS

I feel they are the ones that are yet to sell for the day compare to the ones I will see laughing and gisting and happy.

I might be wrong but it has been a part of me always buying from the ones so quiet and moody.

The height of it was when she was really hungry on Saturday and I was taking my bath. She came to the bathroom crying so she could stay with me while her dad was begging her to come eat. She still proceeded to lead the man to the bathroom with her food (rice), sat on the closed toilet seat and asked my husband to feed her there.

    7. Some Nigerian bathrooms are better than abroad own. Is it all abroad people that are neat? A regular bathroom with tiles and running water needs to be kept neat and sparkling so that one can do anything in it. It's not about the country.

      Delete
    8. Asia, I think that a lot of Nigerian bathroom differs in the sense that most ppl do not properly demarcate the bathroom from the toilet so when bathing, there's just water all over. Doesn't necessarily make it dirty but it sure does make it a little bit more uncomfortable to do anything but bath or poo in the bathroom

      Delete
    9. I agree with Eka. My toilet is in a separate closet with a door so you can come and talk in the bathroom without feeling like you’re talking in the “toilet area”. And honestly just the general way things are constructed abroad make them feel like part of the room and not something to be hidden away.

For a country that complains about high unemployment, our construction work in Nigeria is generally very shoddy. I think we should learn to do do better

  11. Eyaah. Poster who was adopted I fell you my dear.

I only saw my Godmother's pictures during my infant Baptism, few years ago I asked my mom why my godmother doesn't contact me unlike my sister's godmother who buys her gifts and calls her always. My mom said she doesn't know her reasons, then she gave me her phone number to contact her myself and ask. Do you know I bought airtime, called this woman. She was so vague, emotionless. When I introduced myself as her goddaughter, she just said "okay"?.
We spoke for some time, while speaking I exhausted my airtime, I thought she would call back but my dear till today, no word from her. My mom said I should ignore her, she even apologized for making such a person my godmother and wished she had made someone else. I asked my mom if I could change it, she said it was not possible. So my dear, if I can feel bad for a Godmother's absence and lack of care, I can't imagine how you feel. I'm so sorry, it's difficult but try to move on.

    3. 15:05 the point I think my mom was trying to pass is that as Catholics, I think her name was written on my Baptism card. So I guess it's impossible to begin to change it now. Even if I pick another godmother, it would just be between me and her, the Church won't be involved nor recognise it and it can't be reflected on my Baptism card.
