Acting on the directive of the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, the National Universities Commission (NUC), in a circular to all Vice-Chancellors of all universities and directors/chief executive of inter-university canters, urged all the universities to vacate during the election period.

Most universities already knew it was going to happen. My son is closing 23rd of this month.

Delete12:47 think about those schooling in unilag but live in the north or in akwa ibom. That’s a big hardship. Some parents can barely afford the transport fare to school and govt adds another expense without any planning

ReplyDeleteGood news. Read on paper where the ASUU president questioned the order. Saying universities has never been closed during past elections. The environment is tensed. Parents pls hold your teen/adult children. Vote and go to your house. Don't allow anyone use you.

3 weeks ?? what kind of closure is this after 8 months at home ..what a government!! ... if im to employ any graduate na to do exam and rigorous interview o or probation period of 2 months
