Police Kill UGM In Fierce Battle

In the early hours of Monday, February,20,2023 there was an attack on the Awada Police station by unknown gunmen. 


The attack was repelled by the policemen and three of the gunmen were killed in the ensuing battle. Two Ak47s and their vehicle were recovered from the scene of the attack.
On Sunday, February 19, 2023 in another Police station, gunmen engaged in a fierce battle with the police men and it took a combined team of the army and police men to take down five of the gunmen. 

An innocent bystander was killed by stray bullets.
