So Emefiele cannot address Nigerians again, he has to pass the information through Solunsogbu.

  7. The CBN just released a statement this afternoon debunking this. We are a long way from a solution. This government is the most lawless in the history of Nigeria.

  8. Everyone keeps speaking for them. So Eme and Bubu won't address this? Ok nau!

  10. First of all, the government has its fault, but is the government the POS operators that are charging Nigerians exhorbitantly to collect money? NO! The fact is that apart from the government, the typical nigerian, in this case the POS operators are suffering their fellow Nigerians just for their own personal gain. This is the same attitude and behavior they will still display if they are given position of power, the so called poor Nigerians would still suffer the rest and even do worse than these politicians.
What is stopping the POS operators from giving the exact withdrawal amount without surcharging.
In this instance, what do you want CBN to do? I don't know who controls these POS operators, whoever it is, they can begin to sanction them or shut them down.
Why do Nigerians not want to go to a system that relies less on cash? In facct, I have not carried cash around for years and actually don't like to as I will spend it all, the credit system, if we can make it work in Nigeria o, is good.

    1. It is not the fault of the POS operators at all. They do not are for finding easy. They are no longer getting cash from the banks so they are left with no choice than to source for cash on their own. Most times they, mostly buy from fuel attendants and transporters at a very exorbitant price.

    2. Have you ever wondered why most fuel attendants only accept card payment from motorists but will insist on cash payment from those buying in gallons? It is because they intend to sell the cash to pos operators. So stop blaming the poor POS operators alone

  12. Buhari and emefiele opened illegality in the POS business now. Before now they were operating, collecting 100 for 5k but with the senseless note change and laws of the old note not being legal tender again, some of these POS operator claim they buy naira(don't know how true).

If at the time supreme court say govt maintain status quo and spend but alongside, Bunu did not come out to say 'spend only 200' we won't be here.
Supreme court again said collect both till December, Emefiele oo, Bubu did as if they have ear problem and said nothing. If either of them had addressed the nation (like bubu did when he said spend only 200, the money with cow image), we will not be here now.

It is so frustrating, I had to use 1,200 to buy 3k that I have exhausted and don't know where the next money I will spend will come from. You have money but can't access it, where else in the world can this happen and people would not have gone Gaga.... To enter bus no POS or transfer, even Garri seller reject transfer say people wey dey sell for them for bush no dey take transfer...

God pls deliver us from this Pharaoh, our groaning has passed the one of the children or Israel. When we thought we are getting off their shackles, them bring another one wey say e go continue where Buhari stop...God pls deliver us from these tyrants by your mercy in Jesus name.
