  1. Lol. Make Una nor fall for this scam o. That’s how Obaseki made Edo people believe he is a messiah and Edo beingloyal they voted for him. That man has punished Edo people and we are not happy at all. His party contested will be voted out on Saturday.

    2. Did he campaign last time?

Even before this Presidential election, did he campaign?

The result shocked of them. That is how it should always be for all elective office at every election in Nigeria. Maybe, the politicians will then be forced to be concerned about the people beyond seeing them as voting statistics that can be manipulated

    3. You're asking if he campaigned? Obviously you don't know . And yet you continue to leave false information. Yes he campaigned in 2019. All the pictures apart from the taken in Computer Village are from 2019. Let us be guided with our mouths, don't follow the mob

    3. You can all see how you trivialise serious matters in Nigeria. How will anyone ever take this country serious. The whole world is laughing at us. See how you're being so disrespectful to a Governor. We have really taken Free Speech to another level in Nigeria.

If he wins now, the people wont be able to come close to him again. I remember the day policemen almost pushed us into the bush simply because the president's convoy was passing. Mtcheeew.

  15. This people know the power we have as electorates that is why they divide us with tribe and religion just to have their way.

  16. The fear of LP.🤣🤣🤣🤣

This desperation is too much eeh.

  17. He is under intense stress 🤣😂🤣😂

Something that was a remote possibility suddenly seems likely. Whoever thought APC could be challenged in Lagos?

    Mystic

  18. Look for a black goat while it still day! Had it been he worked, would he have been embarrassing himself like this??

    ReplyDelete
  19. I'm not an APC member but I like how he's taking the campaign. If I lived in Lagos I would have voted for him bcos it shows that he believes power lies in the people unlike his counterparts that are using force and intimidation on citizens.

    ReplyDelete
  20. The PR people who advised him and set all these photo ops must have been born around 1930-1940.
Who does these kind of playground tactics in 2023?????
I'm so embarrassed.🤦‍♀️ Don't forget to drive BRT bus, olokada, enter farm, ride ice cream bicycle, go to National Stadium with your own football, and wear knicker, strong belt and starched shirt to your primary school.🤦‍♀️

    1. It's called campaigning. Your name needs to be on everyone lips. We are all talking about it. Whether good or bad, his campaign team has achieved something. Now it's up to you to go out on Saturday and vote for your preferred candidate. We have over 6 million PVCs in Lagos. Only 1.2million voted in presidential election. We all need to come out and vote. Best we put our energy into the right place.

    2. 22:34 I think you need to educate yourself on what true campaigning is.

To do that, you first have to ensure you do not use your people as a blueprint, you cannot learn anything valuable.
Look to campaigns of Mandela, Ronald Reagan, Mikhail Gorbachev, Kennedy, Market Thatcher even the reelection campaign of Obama.
      What do you see?

Look to people whose entire campaign revolved around a theme and made SENSE.

Someone up there said it saw one Governor abroad doing these and automatically it's right? Or perhaps you saw white skin and in your mind automatically it must be right?

If you've been in office and seek reelection, let your achievements speak loudest for you.
No need to don ironed jeans and be wandering a supermarket licking icecream like a frog.

      Read the room.
Read the energy of the people.

Let's separate campaign from clown antics, just as we need to separate PR from balderdash propaganda.

  27. If you are a GenZ or millenial with low information on history & you vote a man without ANY formal experience to govern the 5th largest economy Africa because he speaks a language, don’t complain about the consequences. He has worse godfathers than Sanwoolu, (Bode George, Emefiele, willing to punish many to get his agenda of naira redesign, etc). He has zero resume. Degrees are starting points not work experience.

To know who is truly tribalistic, do a mini excel spreadsheet, put Sanwoolu, Funsho Doherty, Jandor and GRV in terms of all their experience. Funsho was my colleague 3 decades years ago in former Big Four Firms reputable for hiring mostly first class graduates even back then, a first class brain who later came to corporate America and succeeded as an investment banker, Sanwoolu was a banker in Lead merchant bank, FCMB, Special Assistant to Femi Pedro in Lagos, Commissioner for economic planning in Lagos, ex CEO of LSPDC, and in the opinion of many, arguably one of the two best performing govs in Nigeria. The other being Makinde. These folks shoving GRV down the youths throats know he has no experience, speaks like he either isn’t even alert, low energy or plain inexperienced because he has zero managerial or executive corporate experience in a team environment managing people, and P & L! You cannot buy experience. Obama, a community organizer with two Ivy League degrees, was a professor at the University of Chicago, started his political career as an illinois state Senator, then US Senator then president.

Stop and think and don’t be used to further an agenda you may not like when it unfolds. His godfathers will recoup their investment & first turn Lagos state upside down!

I never knew a day will come when Lagos of all states will be used as an INTERNSHIP by a governorship candidate and youths who are better qualified but struggling will be cheering him on. As to Endsars, it’s propaganda to think Sanwoolu is worse than any other governor as even Peter Obi is on record when John Nwafor of Akwuzu SARs was killing under him as Anambra gov (they are still killing by the way) said a civilian couldn’t reign in police or military. They don’t take orders from civilians so the ultimate blame for Endsars is on Buhari & the military commanders.

Whoever you vote for whether out of linguistic cultural affiliation or true resume-based competence, will not affect me much. I was pro Peter Obi but I’m anti GRV. They could have brought a candidate with some managerial experience for a state like Lagos! Worst case is to lose investments/properties I have in Lagos. I have much more here in the US & I’m 🇳🇬🇺🇸. I just hate lies & manipulation of young people that is going on. GRV is no 4 in terms of competence derived from a merit based interview based on the resume of candidates.

You will live with your decisions as many republicans who voted for trump out of personal Obama hatred did. Those republicans later founded the “Lincoln Project” that helped erase their error and vote Trump out but we lost many lives to inexperience, propaganda & mismanagement of COVID19 among many of his gross incompetencies due to a light resume. He inherited money, never had to really work, just cheat via taxes and loopholes. Managerial & executive experience based on merit is what is lacking in Nigeria & it seems some southerners are for their tribe, not for merit & are hypocritical about competence else GRV won’t even be hyped like this. Goodluck to Nigeria! Focus on the remaining 33 states having elections. NY is the big apple but every state has a medium apple so rural-urban migration is non existent in the US to a large extent. If every state has an Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, Baltimore, Seattle, the obsession with Lagos will be less and the economy will grow. At least we now know that when southerners say merit is lacking in fulani hegemony, we know there is an element of hypocrisy there as they a willing to put the destiny of Lagos in the hands of the least competent among four candidates for linguistic affiliation.
