The state government has declared a curfew in the state, which is the best thing to do under the circumstance.
My house is close to the INEC Head Office and I know what that axis was like in the days leading to the election and on Saturday. Mad!! You'd think it's a war happening here.
Finally, Abba 'Gida Gida' of NNPP has been declared winner.
Let's see how long this curfew will last for. Please pray for the safety of Kano.
SDK Ville, have an amazing week y'all.❤️

  3. Triumphant In Christ!!
    2 Corinthians 2:14.

    Excerpts!!

"The world today might be experiencing terribly agonizing times, but the Bible clearly shows that these things aren't new."

"There were economic hardship, deception, fear, and terrorism back then as there are today. These were, and still are, tricks used by the adversary to oppress people. But our God is faithful throughout all generations. He leads us in perpetual triumph. It doesn’t matter the darkness in the world, refuse to fear."

"God has ordained your victory, promotion and prosperity in the midst of darkness. He already planned that you’ll be a success in this life, irrespective of what’s going on in the world around you."

    Confession!!

I thank you Father for your glory in my life, for making the lines fall unto me in pleasant places and giving me a goodly heritage. I live and walk in wealth and health. Greater is He that’s in me than he that’s in the world. I'm the glory of God!

  7. USE YOUR GIFTS

'God has given each of you a gift.' 1 Peter 4:10 NLT

The Bible says: 'God has given each of you a gift from his great variety...Use them well to serve one another. Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God' (1 Peter 4:10-11 NLT). You may not be fortunate enough to work at a job that utilises your gifts, but you should at least be moving in that direction. Paul worked as a tentmaker to finance his calling as a preacher.

So if you know you're a creative person with aptitude for design and visual arts, and you're currently exasperated by your accounting job, it may be time to reconsider your career goals. If you love to solve problems when your computer crashes, but you're currently working as a pastry chef, it's time to step back and reassess. You may not be able to make a living at your foremost passion right away, so you're working in an unrelated field. That's okay for now. But your sights must stay set on following God's calling. Moses spent two-thirds of his life getting ready for his real assignment leading the children of Israel into the promised land.

God never wastes experience. Often the wisdom you glean from a job you don't want equips you to succeed in the one you do; the one God has chosen for you. So keep growing and keep believing God. Then, when he opens the door, you will be ready to walk through it.

  8. With the many dirt and sadness that messed up my mind this past few days over the shenanigans of election, I'm trying so hard to purge myself from it and be fine as I move forward and concentrate more on the important things of life and other life endeavors.

My journey in life is a very beautiful one that I need to guide and protect my sanity in a country speedily drifting into chaos, anarchy and more sadly, at the edge of a precipice.

With the way things are going, suffice it to say, Nigeria now stands on the brink of a political precipice if nothing is been done to arrest the situation.

I've decided to do less commenting on political issues at the moment. I'll do more of observation than comment.

    Away from political matters.

Yesterday, someone sent me a video of a man and a woman having s#x and they got glued together. There's a name the Yoruba called a thing like that. I don't know if it's magun or so but I know it's something from the west.

People were starring at them and the herbalist who had come to separate them.

The woman was trying to cover her face in shame. The man also don't want the camera to capture his face.

The native doctor was seen circling them, making utterances believed to be incantations as to get them loose.

I heard if after two or three days if they're not separated, they will die.

According to a man at the background who spoke in Yoruba, he said the wife is very promiscuous.
The husband had caught her before and she begged and sworn it will never happen again but he never believed her hence he did what he did in order to teach her a lesson and to let people also see the kind of woman he married.

The video ended and I wouldn't know if they were later separated.

Quick question to my Yoruba people here.

The Magun of a thing, I hope I got the spelling correct. Is it only done by the men?

Can a woman also use it to trap her cheating husband?

    1. Teejay, you already know the answer, how can such a thing have a male version? Cheating is men's birthright, have you forgotten?

    3. Phoenix, not ready at all. The real enemies of Nigeria are the evil politicians. They would rather the country remain underdeveloped while they have their way. Electronic voting can be achieved but they won't buy that idea 'cause of selfish interest. Let's not even talk about shedding innocent blood to get into power.

      2. For some with uterine fibroids it helps slow down the regrowth so they tend to munch a lot but that's a farce.
What really holds down fibroids better is lots of oranges, apples and reddish cherries.
They come expensive but for alternatives, normal ripe oranges, tomatoes and pineapples are the best.
If you do a steady routine with the last two, stand behind your couch after eating, grab it and spread your legs to stretch to 2 ends, one in Sokoto the other in Borno State then come up and down like a little bounce.
Your stomach muscles will grip and you'll burn down fats. And oh, you'll sweat, real sweat.

  31. Good morning everyone!!It's a beautiful new week! So, this post is for proper movie buffs like me,hehe hehe! We need to ask those of you who recommended "Sex/Life" to kneel down and raise your hands up o! I couldn't stand that series! The acting was sub par, the plot was all over the place, and as usual ,when they have a weak storyline, they just fill the scenes with sex! It was very distasteful!

Now,if you are looking for a series that is bingeworthy and would keep you engrossed from the very first episode to the last, I would recommend "Black Sails" . It's basically about pirates, back then when we had the British Empire,Spanish Empire and whatnot. It doesn't have all the woke messaging of nowadays where a woman who weighs 60kg can dropkick a man weighing more *side eyes*...Men where written as men; stoic, ego driven and all and women were written as women; having a subtle influence over the men

See,I'm encouraging you guys to go watch it,and then come back to tell the story.

Another of my all time favourites,is Arcane, also on Netflix..It's an animation series but eh!!! Let me stop here jare! Have a blissful day everyone!

  39. Nigerians must appreciate the tolerance of Northerners in the last 8 years in the face of deep seated Bigotry, insults and profiling from the familiars.

We took them all in stride and with Grace. But as we step aside, l must warn the familiar quarters that Yorubas don't have patience like the Northerners, they won't take all the hatred and bigotry in stride. They will throw grace to the bin and return Gbas for Gbos. What happened in the Lagos guber is just a tip of the iceberg.

The familiars should continue with their tribal politics. A word is enough for the wise.

On returning Gbas for Gbos, you cannot hide the fact that you are violent and support violence.
