  1. Currently, Nigeria as it stands now is survival of the fittest. This is the sole reason people have risen up for the first time in history to get it right in the election process and more also defend their mandate.

  2. Stella, even me that isn’t in Nigeria is basically crying for them.

My mum in Lagos said she bought 20000 naira with 4k when she wanted to travel, I was still lamenting when my dad in Enugu said he bought 10k with same 4k.

He is now telling me to be adding charges money. Told him I’m neither Buhari nor Emefiewere that put them in this mess. No be me go dey pay for their crime. Make dem dey manage am like that. I go support them with prayers.

It’s not even funny again. Is there no permanent solution to this aspect of suffering?

  3. e don tey wey naija people don dey suffer, but as the report take talk, true true suffer increase for this few months wey be say money scarce. I comot cap for naija people unto say dem dey always find means wey dem go take survive for any situation wey dem find dem selves. No be small frustration people see for this money lock down plus fuel scarcity and bad network. Make we no even mention POS operators.

How people dey manage am? Hmm like I talk for up, naija people dey quick adjust to any situation wey dem see. E go sha better, we dey hope for new and better Nigeria

  4. Stella, the situation is even worse than you imagine.
The painful part is that the suffering is inflicted by the Government against its people. It's like the current regime wants to see how much damage they can inflict on Nigerians before they hand over power.
No cash, no light, fuel is super expensive, inflation keeps on rising. When you complain, either DSS will come for you or paid social media agents will drag you till infinity.

    1. The irritating thing is that there r some generation that experienced the cruelty of Buhari as a dictator, yet they still voted him so that their grandchildren can experience bad times with this same BUHARI.

It means that there are people who like backwardness, incompetence, injustice and wickedness and want to drag all of us with their ideology

Why oh why wasn't I born in Botswana or even Ghana?!!!

  6. Honestly it is not easy. Before this cashless policy, you hardly see people trek except those doing early morning workout. These days everybody is doing compulsory workout by trekking ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€. Na who see money dey do guy enter okada when you can trek it. In all the God who feeds the birds that neighter sow not gather into ban is still God.
Shout out to every struggling parent here especially those with little children who does not want to hear about cashless policy but must eat three times a day. God will reward your efforts with Godly and responsible children.

  8. Went to the market for the 1st time since last year December. Noticed many shops were locked up. When i made enquiry, was told they don't have account. So they could not accept transfers or pos direct debit. It's very sad. Before yesterday, i have been going to a mini mart near my house, that uses pos and accept transfer. And they practically sell everything. But at a time, the ladies shop was almost empty, and she confessed that the no cash is also affecting her business.

  9. Like a post I saw somewhere, when this administration is over, we wey dey naija deserve certificate of survival..it is a serious something. I told my self at a point that I won't even think it or worry, I will take it one day at a time. There was a day the last cash I had took me to the office, I started looking for where to get cash, called my boss account officer who had helped in the past (even though na 5k,2k the bank pay), she say no shishi. I took like 20mins wall from the office with the aim of getting money from.any POS and then enter Keke back to the office..na so I take trek for 40mins because I had to trek back as I didn't get cash.

I eventually saw someone who promised to get me 3k but charge is 1,200 as I no get choice I paid. Unfortunately na 900 I see and got the 3k after 1 week.

We go survive am and use am tell story.

  16. The only thing that this cashless situation has helped in Abuja is transport fare. From Nyanya to wuse or area one, before you will hear N400 as if you are travelling out of Abuja. Now it is N200 and has been so for weeks.

  18. Who is talking about suffering in Nigeria? No, you dare not lament about the apex hardship being inflicted on Nigerians by the present government or you will be termed an enemy.
It's obvious we have normalized hardship, the reason why our leaders care less about our well being. One thing is sure, everybody will collect 6ft someday whether rich or poor, black or white, east, west, north or south. Before then, remember the harvest of every work is greater ....good or bad. Karma is REAL.

  25. The way Nigerians are being governed is bad. A policy will be rolled out without considering its effect. Look at people dying because no cash anywhere to buy goods, even when you have some in the Bank. Meanwhile the so called leaders are moving about in Siren without caring what becomes of the citizens. They should remember that revolution starts when there is no hope again in life.

  27. No cash has affected everyone. Even those of us into food biz, just that not that much. I pity those into clothing and skincare. Na who don chop dey buy clothes or cream.
The most painful is that ee har plenty cash that we were made to deposit...only not to have access to cash again.
    Banks now rationing money out.
Hopefully it'll ease as Ramadan gets closer.
