The command’s spokesman, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, in a statement on Tuesday, revealed that the suspect was arrested following a report lodged at Sango Ota divisional headquarters by one Olaleye Taiwo, who reported that his brother, Monday Oladele has a disagreement with his tenant over the payment of electricity bill, and that in the process, the said tenant grabbed the manhood of the deceased and dragged him with it.
“Consequently, the landlord fell unconsciously on the ground and he was rushed to General Hospital, Ota where the doctor on duty confirmed him dead.
“Upon the report, the DPO Sango Ota division, CSP Saleh Dahiru, quickly led his detectives to the scene where the suspect was promptly arrested and taken to custody for investigation,” he said.
Oyeyemi added that on interrogation, the 33-year-old suspect claimed that the deceased asked her to pay for electricity bill, but that she insisted that “until water is directly connected to her apartment as promised by the landlord before she packed in, she would not pay the electricity or any other utility bill.”
“This led to a scuffle between them, consequence upon which the suspect grabbed the manhood of the deceased and dragged him with it.
“The deceased subsequently slumped, and he was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead by doctor on duty.
The corpse has been deposited at the hospital mortuary for postmortem examination.
“Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, CP Frank Mba, has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to the Homicide section of the State Criminal Investigation Departments for further investigation and diligent prosecution,” Oyeyemi said.

Wicked woman.😐😐
ReplyDeleteMay his soul rest
DeleteRip to the deceased.
ReplyDeleteAm I the only person who felt physically sick reading this story?
'Sick' Why?
DeleteWere you imagining your blokos being dragged like rope?
Hmmmm...I am sure that wasn't the first time she is grabbing his thing. This time, she grabbed too hard.
ReplyDeleteAbionah what sort of sick comment is this? What are you insinuating? That they were dating? Is this the best comment you could drop on a sad post such as this? Tufiakwa!
DeleteHonestly, I feel the same.
DeleteBearing witness against a dead man who was just murdered. You've hit a new low.
DeleteA lot of crazy things are happening.
ReplyDeleteLord, have mercy on us
Make everybody dey be careful these days o. Ordinary shout sef fit make person you dey shout for Collapse for ground. Wahala wahala everywhere.
ReplyDeleteAwon promise and fail landlords. Weldone.
ReplyDeleteWish this woman had not moved in before he did what he did. Now she will get some time in jail for manslaughter if she does not have a good lawyer.
But she sef, why was it the blokos she decided to drag?
This woman you get wicked mind.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wicked thing to do. This woman is wicked o. Chai! I'm literally screaming. What???????
ReplyDeleteWe need an update on this matter
ReplyDeleteHmmmm...
ReplyDeleteShe was sick and tired and frustrated with the landlord who decieved her and defrauded her. Yes, it is fraud. You collected your full rent plus other charges, promised to fix a basic home need such as water in a home, you failed to do it.
ReplyDeleteHe still had the guts to go trouble the tenant for payment of bills.
She should get a good lawyer, it was a case of two fighting, she was defending herself.
Before anyone will come and say what if he was my bro or hubby, excuse me, I don't have such fraudulent people around me🙄
He’s dead na, nobody will reason this part but it’s a very very vital part of the story
DeleteThe punishment for fraud is not physically assaulting the alleged fraudster to the point of death.
DeleteMadam you went way too far...rip OGA
ReplyDeleteOh dear..
ReplyDeleteThis is why I always avoid getting into any physical fights with anyone. She should get a good lawyer and plead self defense or na life imprisonment be that.
ReplyDeleteYou don’t get life imprisonment for manslaughter, do u?
DeleteEwooo😲
ReplyDeleteYou never know someone who is about to die . The blokos squeeze probably tipped his high blood pressure over
ReplyDeleteWahala
ReplyDeleteRest in peace landlord but let's be truthful in our dealings, stop deceiving people
ReplyDeleteAnger will not go to prison with you. Anger will make you guilty even if you are in the right. Anger will never lead to anything good.
ReplyDeleteAngryaria...Some people do not know when to avoid wahala ..
ReplyDeleteAnnoying landlord and temperamental tenant.
ReplyDeleteThis is why one should not engage in unnecessary physical confrontations. You don’t know who’s in good or bad health. You can slap someone who’ll end up in the mortuary. The person’s family members will then burden you with one of their children to raise for eighteen years as penance.
ReplyDelete- Meobizy.
The landlord was a very fraudulent man, that's how most of them do, deceiving you into renting their house and start showing you shege banza.
ReplyDeleteBut the woman has no any right to drag him by his blokos knowing fully well that, it's very dangerous, in everything you do, avoid anything that will trigger physical fight, may his soul rest in peace and may the wicked woman rot in jail.
Chai this woman don enter like this! She may just have been defending herself but didnt know when to let go..
ReplyDeleteShe looks like a blokos dragger anyway
ReplyDeleteTwo fighting
