AMEBO CHRONICLES - Heavy Secret

Things are really bad and we all are feeling it but one needs to sit and re-strategize in order not to make bad decisions that might end up making things worse than they already are...

I ran into one of my younger friend some days ago and we  started talking about how bad the cash situation is and she told me how she had to close down her POS business because she couldn’t hustle for cash to give customers.

I asked her what next? And what she told me gave me chills.
Turns out Babe has pawned all she has and is getting ready to leave the country, not all Japa is Japa o. She is going to Bhagdad!

BAGHDAD?

Who do you know there? How did you get the contact? Have you done your research? She said she has this friend she met (I know it’s online), she has paid the agency 700k ahead and will balance up when she starts work. She says there is work there and she will make money and be made in less than a year. Hnmmm

I told her straight that she was being trafficked to sell her virtue but she said no it’s a lie people tell others because they don’t want them to make it in life.LOL 28 years old lady and still ignorant or is it desperation?

She went on and on about it being the best decision she made. She just went to do an affidavit to claim her mother is her mother and she showed me her ticket and passport but I didn’t see the date. She didn’t even tell her mother she was planning to travel. I asked her when she intends to tell her mother she says a day before she leaves. She begged me not to tell anyone but I am afraid for her.

I saw her mother yesterday at the main market and guilty conscience wanted to finish me. I greeted her and wanted to say something but I didn’t.

The weight of other people’s secret can be heavy sometimes.

  1. The best thing you can do for this girl is to inform her mum and other figures of authority in her family. Show them proof of Baghdad being a wasteland, even fake the proof of you have to. She will hate you but GOD will reward you immensely. Another thing that is important it finding out the evil agency that is trafficking girls. Nigeria is hard but Baghdad, as a person of color, will destroy her.

  3. Now, I feel for that young lady because she obviously isn't aware of where she's heading to.

    1. She is very much aware but her greed has blinded her. Nigeria was in much more desperate traits in the 80s. A woman who can raise 700k but is looking for how to be made within a year is not going to convince the sane that it's desperation. She can with some patience, take courses and be head hunted by employers abroad but it's always the short cut for some people.

  4. She's about to get herself into a big mess that she might not be able to come out from. This is human trafficking and it might not end well. Kindly help her do an online research about the country, let her know that it's an unstable place that saw war not long ago. Let her know how human traffickers operate. Tell her to ask certain questions from her traffickers like what he or she does, proof of what they do, their investment back home and the rest.

    1. Nigeria is not a mess, her mentality is a mess. Was it not in this country she made the 700k she wants to use to travel? If she can make 700k then she could make more ,but the following of stupid trends won't allow people to think straight.

  8. You better inform the authority in charge even if you have to do it anonymously. A friend younger sister fell for this kind of trap too, she also didn't tell anyone before leaving the country, she saw hell, infact, how she made it back to Nigeria alive is just by the grace of God because many of her friends died in the Sahara desert.

  11. The so called agency advised her but to tell anyone so her family won't stop her. Please let her mother know somehow. Black people especially women have no business wandering into certain areas of the world where the personhood of females is not yet accepted.

    1. Place where being female is a weakness and disadvantage then add black on top. Organ traffickers oooo
      Sexual slavery
      Domestic slavery

Invite her look for YouTube video on organ trafficking and show her

  12. They did this to a church member. On getting to Lagos, she got back her senses and fought them at the motor park. Real fight with punches. They wanted to make sure she traveled with them. Please blow it out. Tell every freaking person. Trust me she will hate you, but later in life, she'll understand. The agency is involved in human trafficking.
Please tell someone close to her urgently. Please do immediately. I believe these agencies have gone diabolical.

  13. I pity her, she might not come back alive. Some re trafficked for their organs, black folks organs re in high demand in the middle East and so many persons have disappeared to such countries without a trace.

    1. And going to a country with no human rights and where black bodies are seen as having no value. Just for the sake of saying you travelled out you going to step in hell. This cannot be kept a secret. Let her hate me I wouldn’t care, but I am louding it, reporting it. Look what happened in and is still happening in Libya, and Iraq is in a worst state. She better go tell the mother today.

  14. The quest to japa have ppl losing their damn minds. The mindset that anywhere is better than where they are is crazy. There are countries on Earth where black bodies should not even enter. A woman travelling alone to a place where the women of the same country cannot even go to the supermarket alone. The men will view her as a prostitute and treat her as such, she may never even make it out of there.

Somebody needs to stop her. Screw losing 700k, no money is more valuable than life. I cannot believe a whole 28 yr old person living in a major city could be so unaware.
