GIST

I read somewhere or was It on this blog that African women suffer most in marriage. I really don't want to believe it but the things I see and read everyday is enough to give it a yes

I have a friend that has suffered all the humiliation anyone can think of from her husband, but she stayed put. Once the man shines teeth for her for five minutes, she'll empty her account and give all to him. He uses the money to maintain side chicks while wife goes about borrowing so that the kids can have food to eat. This man knows her mumu button and is pressing it well

Moving on to the main tory, there's this woman that her hubby refuses to cater for her and the kids. She's a house wife and husband is working and earning well, but he finds it difficult to provide for his family. He gives just little

She confided in her best friend so that best friend can help talk to her husband to carry out his duties as the man of the house. Bestie in the process of always talking and pleading with the man, they become friends. Imagine being friends with your wife's bestie

As I'm writing this now, it's the bestie that's running this family, whatever she says stands. If wife wants cream, she'll call her bestie to beg her husband to buy her cream. It's bestie that tells husband what to buy for wife and kids
If wife asks husband for anything, he doesn't do it. But once bestie tells him to, he'll gladly do it with all pleasure

Wife is aware they have something going on, it's glaring to her, yet she won't do anything nor say a word to avoid total negligence. I feel this bestie of hers is enjoying this because she feels her friend can't do nada because eh, e get some women wey no fit take this shit

What a wicked friend!!!...Tufiakwa!

GIST FROM FAQ

'......'That was how one lady sent her fiancΓ© alone to go see her people. According to her, her fiance travelled for something else in the state the lady's family reside, so he decided to use that opportunity to see the girl's parents and introduce himself. The lady agreed and gave him address. Upon reaching there, he was greeted by the most beautiful lady ever (according to him). Exactly the kind of lady he was looking for. Big waist, fine face, ten days...sorry scrap that. Big waist, big boobs, fine complexion and all that. That was the lady's younger sister. To cut a long story short, he started dating the younger sister secretly and eventually married her when she got pregnant''.

WOW, such betrayal!!!!

*****************************

*PROFITABLE REALITIES*

1- Do not keep stupid friends all in the name of "No one knows tomorrow." They may not allow you to see that tomorrow, so be very careful.*

2- Marrying a lady with children doesn't mean you are a fool. A Fool is the biological father that ran away from his responsibility.*

3- When you care too much, you will be treated as a fool, because they think you can't live without them. Therefore, be wise.*

4-If you want to go far in life, train your heart to accept disappointments, even if it comes from those you trusted, because every disappointment has a reason.*

5-A friend who becomes an enemy after a little misunderstanding has been an enemy all along. They were just pretending. So hold yourself.*

6- My people, stop keeping clothes and shoes for special occasions, start wearing them when you can. Because nowadays, being alive alone is a special occasion.*

7- If nobody is mocking or criticizing you, it means you are a nobody. No one throws stones at a fruitless tree. Continue to be fruitful.*

8 -If you want to become useless in life, I mean very useless, then depend on people.*

9- When you find out that, no one is correcting you, don't think you are perfect, you are just beyond repair.*

10- Don't expect me to hate someone just because you hate him or her. Let me educate you, HATE is not a communicable disease. Suffer your hate virus alone and don't involve me.*

11-Did you know that, one of the definitions of madness is the act of increasing your speed when you know that you have missed the road, way, direction?*

12-Life is a teacher, the more you live the more you learn*

13- Attitude is everything in life*

Think numbers 1- 13 through and if you dont understand, then read it again!

While enjoying the drama on Instagram and Telegram, make sure the phone you log in with doesn't have explicit content of your personal living, like your family parties, discussions and chats with loved ones.
Anytime it asks you for access to your media files, videos, photos, audios et all, quietly close it and reopen.

How do I explain to her that ojuju is just a figment of her imagination? Once it gets dark, she starts seeing ojuju everywhere. From one man with a very long nose that hides behind the kitchen door to a figure (she didn't mention the gender) that lives on my wardrobe.
This morning, I nearly poured hot oil on her body when she flew into the kitchen where I was frying. She clung to me crying, I asked her what the problem was, she said "Baba is in the room", pointing to the bedroom.
I went to see. Lo and behold, it was a burial souvenir jotter of my friend's grandpa which I left on the bed. His picture was on it, that's what my daughter was scared of.
I hid the jotter but my mind is telling me to bring it out, summon the man with the long nose and the figure that resides on the wardrobe tonight, let's face the fear once and for all.

When you talks about giant stride development, give it to him. I saw what he did in Ebonyi state and was marveled by his deed. The newly airport built just received his first plane test run.

Abia state should pray to have a governor that will do more than what Umahi did in Ebonyi state. Seeing Alex Otti already engaging Julius Berger gives hope he will do better once he takes over the affair of the state.

  43. I don't know if I read a different story here but going by the story above, the poster said in this sentence ''To cut a long story short, he started dating the younger sister secretly and eventually married her when she got pregnant''.

I want to know how she's a betrayal here. Did she actually know the guy was dating her elder sister? I didn't read that but only saw they were secretly dating.

What if the sister didn't know and already gotten pregnant before finding out? What would she have done?

Did the man told them the reason of his visit?

I wish the story explained all these, then one will really have a true picture of what truly happened.

I think we the teachers in my school are enjoying compared to some others. Some teachers did not get up to one month holiday but my school gave us two weeks. We were only asked to come to school yesterday and today to arrange our classes, submit lesson notes and attend teachers/management meeting.
My customer who is also a teacher said she is tired of her school, she wants to know if we have vacancy in my school. Unfortunately, we don't have. I feel pity for her when she rants about the school. They don't pay them until almost middle of the new month. Smh.
It is well with us all.

  51. I read the FAQ post this morning.
The bv that wants to go for tailoring training, pls go to that your street woman who is good at what she does. You can later attend a fashion school for three months if you can afford it. I heard they will teach you how to arrange your business in a posh way in a fashion school, just register for advance classes. The street woman will teach you from the scratch and you will see hands-on how everything is done. You will see how she relates with customers too. I pray she is kind to you.
My boss is a very kind woman, she dedicates her time in teaching us. I am in the process of sewing ball gowns for my daughters and I started in January. I know it won't be perfect yet but I'm willing to try.

That woman with the bestie who is her husband's "friend" reminds me of our mothers. I never knew some women are still mumu like this in this modern time.
Why can't she get something doing? She can start with dropshipping from the comfort of her home with Android phone. All she needs is data and charged phone, she doesn't need capital to start.

    3. Dropshipping business in summary goes like this:

You arrange with a seller of a particular item or items, to be selling on their behalf, online.

You collect pictures from the seller and the wholesale prices.

You advertise the items and add your gain to the wholesale prices

Customers order and pay you, they also pay for delivery if they cannot pick up.

You pay the wholesaler and remove your gain.

The wholesaler sends the items to you so the buyer can pick up from you, you can also send the item to the buyer from your own location if you and wholesaler are in the same area and delivery fee to your place is not high.

The wholesaler can send the items to the buyer directly after you must have paid the delivery fee together with the cost price of the item. This is if the wholesaler is in another location.
This also requires Great discipline and trust cos some wholesalers steal customers through this arrangement, they will have the customer's contact which they give to the driver or delivery company.

Most sellers that do dropshipping have WhatsApp groups where they interact with their dropshippers and post pictures for them to use. Check Facebook sales group or sales WhatsApp groups in your state.

You can walk into a shop in your location and arrange with the owner.

      Hope this helps.

Remember the song, emancipate yourself from mental slavery'... It starts with the mind.
Abuse is gradual. If you allow it, it will keep increasing.
Why send a man who dosen't send you? Don't you ever think you are hopeless or helpless without him/her. If it means selling Akara, corn etc by the road side, wake up, get up, stand up and set yourself free. Put some respect on yourself and name.

  71. @Profitable Realities, I quite agree with your post except for number two. Gender tagged and sexism quotes are tiring and can be offensive every other time. They are mostly vested with too much idealism, devoid of the practical realities we all witnesses to. The second qoute would have been better situated as :

    {2- Marrying a single parent (a person who has a child or children but does not have a spouse or live-in partner to assist in the upbringing or support of the child/children) doesn't mean you are a fool. The Fool is the spouse (or biological parent) that ran away from their responsibility}
That way it sits wells with all and sundry without prejudice.

Come to think of it, women too, do leave their children behind and sever their biological responsibilities to their child(ren). And another man takes up those duties. Enough of these women this, men that. We are firstly humans.
Sadly most of these sexism quotes tends to highlight more feminine insecurities from a place of bitterness. The society from creation was designed masculine and it cannot be changed. Profoundly we just have cruel, badly or ill-behaved individuals or people scattered everywhere.

In most cases we will even find the two genders conspiring to hurt another gender on purpose. As shown in the two posts above @gist and @gist from FAQ and the trending story online.

    Happy weekend everyone.

What some women go through in marriages is better imagined. That bestie was never a friend, she's an enemy in disguise waiting for opportunity to strike and she got it on a platter. Why report ur hubby to ur friend.what happened to your pastor, siblngs or elders in your family.

Looks like all these nollywood Asaba movies. He just married her younger sister like that? The relationship between those two sisters will never remain the same, in fact, the family will be divided as some will be in support of the younger one while others will be in support of the older one.
