    GUARD YOUR VULNERABILITY

    'Let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.' 1 Corinthians 10:12 NKJV


    Here are three areas where we're particularly vulnerable:

    (1) Discouragement. In a moment of discouragement, Peter did what he swore he'd never do: deny Jesus. Discouragement makes you say things you don't mean, and do things that are out of character. That's why Jude writes to 'use your most holy faith to grow. Pray with the Holy Spirit's help. Remain in God's love' (Jude 1:20-21 GWT). (2) Excitement. Herod became excited by a dancing girl, threw caution to the wind and made an offer he lived to regret: 'Whatever you ask me, I will give you' (Mark 6:23 NKJV). She asked for John the Baptist's head, and since he was a king, Herod had to keep his promise. That single moment of indulgence cost him his kingdom and his life. Be careful where you turn for excitement, and how you react when you find it. 'When desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. Do not be deceived' (James 1:15-16 NKJV). (3) Weariness. In Old Testament times, a 'birthright' meant the oldest son inherited twice as much of his father's estate. Normally, Esau wouldn't have sold his birthright, but he did so in a state of exhaustion (see Genesis 25:29-34). Weariness can cause you to lose perspective and make decisions based on what feels right in the moment rather than what's right for you long term.

    The Bible says: 'All these things happened to them as examples...Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall' (1 Corinthians 10:11-12 NKJV).

      I remember going for an interview as an office assistant to keep myself busy before work resumes at my office (strike things).
      He has a cyber cafe, does daily contribution (ajoo and loans people money), has a pos and laundry all in one shop.
      He said I'll resume at 7am everyday except on Sundays, help to do the laundry before the boys comes for ironing, handle pos, mind the café and in the noon I'll go talk to people and market women to come join our daily savings.

      Then he said my pay is 7k per month. 7k for feeding, clothing, hair and house rent, I asked him to mek it 10k but he declined. I just jejely went into my clothing business before work resumed

      He kept calling for me to work for him but refused to add a dime. Some employers sha

    Just as we about to start the trip, the driver asked for consent to do the Trip offline
    I asked why?
    He said bolt will charge him 600 naira from this 3000 naira trip
    And he can't keep giving bolt that kind of money when they don't contribute to his fuel

    But oga you are using their platform
    Don't they deserve their own share?

    Please don't go offline
    You must complete my ride online

    Then he said
    Since you don't want me to survive, no problem

    I just smiled

    This one doesn't know he carried the wrong woman
    Emotional blackmail from a man does nothing to me
    I just plugged in my headphone and saw his lips moving, I didn't care about what he was singing or saying
    Just get me to My destination

    The moment you decide to be a bolt or Uber driver
    You agree to their terms and conditions
    Trying to rip them afterwards is stealing

    Secondly, for security reasons
    Don't allow these bolt drivers blackmail you into doing an offline trip

    Don't listen to their reasons about trying to hustle etc

    We are all trying to hustle
    You did not force anyone to register with bolt
    If they can't keep up with bolt terms and conditions
    Let them gp back to whatever they were doing

    Do your Trip online
    So if anything happens to you
    People can trace you

      This happened to me early January, I booked bolt, driver said same thing to me, he actually even asked me to add more money since I was carrying a lot of stuff, he kept on whining and complaining throughout the trip, when I got to my destination I paid him what bolt charged me initially, he went on a mindless tirade of how he started the trip off line, yen yen yen. Told him it's not my concern
