      The crime alleged against him does not match the treatment meted to him from the day of detention till the day of his bail.

      Note that alleged is used because the presumption of innocence until adjudged guilty by a court is a constitutional right.

      Note further that it is not for nothing the Magistrate directed prosecution of the simple alleged offence by the AG's office.

      The same is said on behalf of other Nigerians who have been or are being so treated.

      Until it gets to us we trivialize other people's travails and indirectly emboldened the heavy hands of the State against its own citizens.

      Disagree with his conduct. Disagree with his politics. But let the law be followed in convicting or acquitting all persons accused of a crime, any crime. That is the point he made in his rhyme.
