EX Zamfara State Gov Matawalle's House Ransacked And Over 40 Govt Vehicles Reportedly Recovered

Over 40 stolen government’s vehicles, including three (3) bulletproof vehicles and eight (8) SUVs, were reportedly recovered from the residence of the immediate past governor of Zamfara State, Bello Matawalle, in Gusau.

A source told Daily Trust that heavily armed security personnel had on Friday morning (June 10th) stormed the former Zamfara State Governor’s residence in the state capital, where a number of vehicles were recovered.

Friday’s raid to recover the government’s stolen property was confirmed in a statement by Senior Special Assistant (Media and Publicity) to the Zamfara Governor, Suleiman Idris.

“The Zamfara State Government has cleared the air on the operation of the Nigeria Police Force that led to the recovery of vehicles looted by the former State Governor, Bello Mohammaed Matawalle.”

  8. This post is our daily reminder not to tap into anything or laud anyone and what they have when we have no clue how they got it or what they have to do to keep it. The man is a thief, a liar, and hater of progress for the disadvantaged.

  9. Wicked and selfish leaders. Not like they don't know what has been happening but they all want to sit in power to expose what has been happening since 19000.
