ReplyDeleteSome people get coconut head. They said 10pm gate will be locked and you strolled in around past 11pm. This neighbour of mine knocked the gate for more than one hour, no body stepped out to open the gate for him or her. At a point the person picked stone and started using it to hit the gate thinking people will be tired of the noise and step out. Still nobody did. I know the person will be a female cos a man would have climbed the gate. I sincerely hope the person has learnt his or her lesson. Where the person slept, only God knows.

ReplyDeleteI am telling you. I miss going for 1st service cos my children have to attend their own service and it's not same time like 1st service.
DeleteSome women can be inconsiderate. Growing up, I lived with my elder brother and his family. His wife gave birth and her mom came, she's around 67yrs. I noticed her mom rarely sleeps coz the baby wakes up at night. She stores milk so her mom can feed the baby while she sleeps. Daytime her mom will be in the kitchen cooking, I do the errands, market runs and general cleaning, one day this woman almost collapsed in the kitchen. I quickly held her till she sat down down, I told my brother and he said the woman should go, let our mom come. She left, our mom came, same thing was playing out, she doesn't sleep at night, and in the morning, she's bathing and feeding baby while the wife watches TV. I stay awake too and would beg her to sleep so I can carry the baby till he sleeps off. Now they don't want the baby sleeping in their room, as they say it would disconnect husband and wife bond, I'm like wtf!
ReplyDeleteI went for market runs, in returning, I found out mom in the floor, she was pounding ogbono coz the pestle and everything was in the floor, pot was boiling, I shouted, his wife came out, I carried my mom to the car and drove to the hospital, they tried to resusticate, no way. That incident traumatized me. FF I got married, and my wife wanted her almost 75yo mom to come , I refused. I got a nanny, a cleaner, and a cook. She was not satisfied so we allowed her mom come. She wanted this woman to bathe and cook, I said no! We have 3 helps whom I pay fgs! The memory of my mom still haunts me, my elder bro lives in regret till NOW/TODAY. No senior is working on my watch! Why is she not satisfied? So she said she will follow her mom to ther village for a proper omugwo and I can tag along. Well, I told her no way, my job provides her with the good things of life. They e been gone for a month, I am on an internal platform working and she hardly picks my calls, only her elder brother does. I hope I won't be called wicked if I decide to be a man and do the needful lol, because this is a marriage of 14 months and the earlier we get our priorities straight, the better. Maybe the I love you I've been singing is making her think I can't live without her, hahaha the shock is gonna be epic.
Just felt like ranting cos I feel better after I do. If you feel like blaming or abusing me, please feel free to, coz some women ain't worth the effort.
