Bvs why do you take to heart those comments made by Dante's? Everytime women hater this, women hater that. Does his comment here really affect how you live your life in reality? Why so much hatred on him just because of his comments on women? Must everybody see life from thesame perspective as you? Reasonable people will engage you by raising logical points to counter your claims if they do not agree with your submission and not to shut you up from airing your view. Disagreeing with what the majority stand for is not a taboo and if you feel that that single person who has a different submission from what the rest people stand for has raised unreasonable points, the floor is open for you to counter his/her claims with your seemingly reasonable points and you should make sure that your points are convincing enough.

If only the poor knew the price the rich paid to get to top and if only the rich knows the battles, challenges that the poor is going through, none will ever form a theory about each other.
If the poor can't appreciate the rich man's success let him mind his business if it is easy to be rich he wouldn't have been poor.
And if the rich won't help the poor grow at least they should not kill the spirit of a struggling man.

ReplyDeleteThe actions taken by Governor Sanwoolu so far over the unfortunate elevator-linked death of Dr Vwaere Diaso, from the suspension of the GM of the Lagos State Infrastructure and Asset Management Agency, the delisting and sacking of the facility management company and the arrest and handing over of the elevator installers to the police for prosecution, has been very commendable.
And by introducing a policy to involve the hospital management in the running of the facility shows that the government has learnt needed lessons from this needless tragedy. I am hard-pressed to see how the Lagos State Government could have handled the situation better.
Additionally, it is particularly heartwarming that all staff of the Lagos State Government have life insurance provided by the state. And while this will not bring Dr Diasa back, it offers at least some succour to her family. Indeed, Lagos has shown itself to be a Centre of Excellence in Nigeria, and I commend the government of the state for restoring the confidence of the public in its ability to govern them effectively.

ReplyDeleteOn her way home, she stops at a newsstand to buy a newspaper. Before leaving, she says to the clerk, ‘I hope you don’t mind my asking, but how old do you think I am?”.
‘About 32,’ is the reply.’
‘Nope! I’m exactly 50,’ the woman says happily.
A little while later she goes into McDonald’s and asks the counter girl the very same question.
The girl replies, ‘I’d guess about 29.’ The woman replies with a big smile, ‘Nope, I’m 50.’
Now she’s feeling really good about herself. She stops at a candy shop on her way down the street.
She goes up to the counter to get some mints and asks the assistant the same burning question.
The clerk responds, ‘Oh, I’d say 30.’
Again she proudly responds, ‘I’m 50, but thank you!’
While waiting for the bus to go home, she asks an old man waiting next to her the same question.
He replies, ‘Lady, I’m 78 and my eyesight is going. Although, when I was young there was a sure-fire way to tell how old a woman was.
It sounds very forward, but it requires you to let me put my hands under your bra Then, and only then I can tell you EXACTLY how old you are.’
They wait in silence on the empty street until her curiosity gets the better of her. She finally blurts out, ‘What the hell, go ahead.’
He slips both of his hands under her blouse and begins to feel around very slowly and carefully. He bounces and weighs each breast.
After a couple of minutes of this, she says, ‘Okay, okay.....How old am I?’
He completes one last squeeze of her breasts, removes his hands, and says, ‘Madam, you are 50.’
Stunned and amazed, the woman says, ‘That was incredible, how could you tell?’

Just like every other places,areas get degree. But what I notice is meat used to be very cheap those days in Ibadan not sure of nowadays.aa ode area, new bodija, and oluyole estate is very nice and not too expensive if you like posh area. Anyway pinky and deeza will give you better advice

DeletePlease advise me please, there's this new school in my area, though a bit far like 5 mins from the normal school,but the school has nice structure almost all the teachers are either PhD the least is masters, very beautiful environment but more than ×2 of the former school where they have average teachers but are also trying academically but the structure is too local that kids can't use toilet in school because even as a parent anytime I pass through that toilet area I feel like v***ting.

Now I'm thinking of money, additional school fees and fuel money, though we are yet to pick up from I just need advice if it's worth it

It's the height of irresponsibility when you are not aiming to have children and give them the very best.
No matter what you decide, make sure you choose a school within your means. Improve your finances first. Tell the current school to work on ensuring that the school toilets are clean and properly disinfected. Also train your kids to have a toilet routine whereby they do the major(poo) before having their bath in the morning.
