10:04, I was shocked at some of the comments too. She wasn't in a right frame of mind when she dropped the comments, honestly. When my daughter's nanny got news of her husband dying in an accident, she was just smiling, laughing and welcoming sympathisers. She was even consoling the ones who were crying. After like 3 days, omo, that was when reality set in. The cries were uncontrollable. It's been almost 5 years and this woman has not gotten over the grief.

True @Castle. People that experience delayed grief due to the shock end up taking longer to heal. I was actually worried for her because the comment showed that she was not in the right frame of mind but was trying to act like her funny, happy go lucky self.
DeleteI had a friend that would talk about her father that was just buried like he was still alive. She would laugh, gist, etc. People kept wondering if she really lost her father. When it hit her, she stopped going for her lectures, didn't write her exams,just packed up and never came back to school.
A dude I know that used to be all dressed up would wear a shirt with holes in the armpits when it finally sank in that his dad was gone and not notice nor care when you tell him. It has been years later and his outlook on life following his father passing away hasn't been the same.
