ReplyDeleteShe was all over the place with her pastor saying whatever to Nigerians when they questioned her genuineness. Even when some public figures tried to stand by her, she and him had things to say, right? Well they both should deal with the bed they laid on. Nigerians are not getting involved.

She is a young girl. Please cut her some slack and help call out whoever is threatening her. As a mom of young adults in their 20s, I can’s help but remember when my friends & I used to refer to our young adults as “19 going on 40”, a parody of the song in the “sound of music video” because Gen Z think they have things all figured out. They don’t know that life is deeper than they see.

They threw her out there to be mocked, ridiculed and shamed with a few naira judging by the quality & quantity of the food she cooked & served. Maybe there was a disagreement over money (usually) they blocked her, her entire support system, the church blocked her according to the church “spokesman” because she did not attend church. Please let our relationships not be transactional
ATM like because for the entire church including the pastor to have blocked her (their account, she has not said anything specific) is not biblical. If someone isn’t calling you or picking your calls, they may be going through stuff. It’s not always about us or about money.

ReplyDeleteHe thought the process of breaking a GWR was like loading credit on one's phone. He was unreasearched so he didn't know there is no prize money. The little that this girl's effort brought in and her foolish zeal about being holier than other contenders will cause God to ignore protocol and give her a slum dog millionaire story didn't quite work out. The lady is not the most social media savvy and is not yet aware of the many ways one can leverage a skill.
No one sitting under the voice of a 'million dollar prophet' knows God. They are just zealous and confused in addition to being young.

Months free culinary class and invite her to stay in Lagos. Afterwards, give her a job at your restaurant and let her become a better chef. That’s how to help such people see that life is not imitation.
She's still in school so that might not be possible, besides you don't know if Hilda has such resources available to her right now. Let her go to the police and make a report, then give a detailed interview of everything that happened on SM so the story is out there and law enforcement is aware, other citizens might be able to assist in other ways.

Anything entertainment or fame, you need trusted people around you cos everyone will try to mislead or cheat you. It is not for the weak, naive or unprepared. Wasn't Alex unusual giving her story of how her manager stole all her income the other day. Now this. Mohbads story too was rooted in manager issues. My dear report any threats to police. Then pay him the cost of whatever he spent, then cut off and go finish your education. May God guide you 🙏🏾
