ReplyDeleteThere is nothing wrong with keeping a name after divorce. If I knew i was going to get divorced, I won't have had to change it over a 10+ years of career. SO if our divorce is finalized, i retain the name because it is same with my kids surname who would be with me physically and i have worked with this name in about four companies including three multinationals. So why will i change the name and go through the stress of re-introduction? If i re-marry, no problem but i don't plan to and will definitely retain the name as a compound name!........ It is not to honour the asshole that betrayed me and my loyalty or his evil mother but to honour my kids and identify with them!. Well my opinion. If he likes he marries five more, My surname is my kids' !
