Nigerians Reportedly Spend Over $210 Million Daily On Betting

According to the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC), more than 65 million Nigerians spend millions on betting, despite worsening economic hardship.


Executive Secretary, National Lottery Trust Fund, NLTF, Bello Maigari, said more than 65 million Nigerians spend millions on betting, despite worsening economic hardship. Currently, there are over 65 million Nigerians actively engaging in this activity, spending $15 on average every day. On record daily, 14 million bets are taken, and payments are made online.

  15. I know of someone whos tennage son is addicted to this gambling.
    It's so bad you can't send this boy with money to buy anything for you. He will first go to gambling point with the money, trying to make something extra out of the money you gave him for a purchase. It's so addictive to our youth. May God see them through.
