Yoruba Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has been tagged as a bully and called out by several people.....This is her reaction.....
“I Iyabo Ojo, I am the same person at my core that you have always known over the years. I stand for justice and fairness. One of my main goals of starring on a reality TV show was to entertain everyone and give you all a show worthy of your time. I made sure that drama was the centerpiece of the show. In the midst of that drama, I may have offended some people and displayed some behaviors that are certain attributes to bullies. For that, I am truly sorry to all that I have offended.
I emphatically reject all forms of bullying. I have never bullied anyone in my day-to-day life nor condoned bullying in any form. For me to bully, is to continuously denigrate, hurt, and cause harm to others, and that is not me. Stepping on that dress on the show was a way to get talking points for the show for entertainment purposes, and we succeeded. No harm was meant.
Justice for the fallen singer Mohbad is something very dear to me and dear to millions of people around the world. I have no regrets, being in this fight for him and his family. With this, I find myself dragged and people capitalizing and even belittling the gravity of the situation by equating it to a show. This is real life!
People who know me are aware that I give my all and last dime to people behind the scenes. I take care, nurture, and uplift others as much as I can. To read my daughter’s post online broke my heart to even imagine the burden it must be for her and her brother to be dragged online just because of me. That moved me as a mother. I want them to know that I will give the world to them.
To my man Obim , I love and respect how solid you are. Thank you for your unwavering support for me and for reminding me of my core values. You and I are ONE
Finally, just as we can learn to live together in peace when we agree, we can also learn to be cordial in our differences towards each other”.
🤔🤔🤔
ReplyDeleteMake u follow you think 🤔 too
DeleteI believe Paulo or her kids made her tender this apology which is not actually giving. You can't be saying you're truly sorry and act like you don't know the people/person you've offended by saying ''if/may''. That's not it.
ReplyDeleteYou either mean it or don't apologize. Na wa! You want to give us a show by staining the reputation you spent years building. A lot of us now know better though. It's not just a show kan kan!
You have a very cold heart, unforgiving one. Someone just wrote an apology to the people she felt she offended and that doesn't even include you (cos pray, tell how she has offended you), yet you are here saying the apology doesn't cut it.
DeleteWho doesn't know that the show is scripted but your hard heartedness will not allow you acknowledge it.
What else do u want Cynthia, how should she apologise again nawa o. People cannot be please mtcheew🙄
DeleteShe should have directly apologized to the one whose dress she stepped on and also the one she has been bullying. The public does not need this apology. They do. Iyabo clearly can not dish out what she serves
DeleteAnons, please I beg you with whatever you worship, reply Cyn with your IDs. If you can't,kindly remain silent.Thank you.
DeleteCynthia Well Said!! They want to portray the show as being scripted but this season 2 own is way beyond scripted...Anyway whatever rocks her boat...
Delete@disco dancer, so if they reply Cynthia with their ID, pray tell what will happen? Please dance away.
DeleteYou guys a show is a show. A movie is a movie. A play is a play. She has tendered her apology. Take it or leave it. Truth is shows like these are geared towards toxicity. I tried following the ones they do abroad, I knew it was not for me. All the shading, bickering, shouting, unnecessary drama, hate etc, it comes with the territory. So when they said they wanted to start Naija own, I said to myself nehi nehi. I can't. Seriously what were you guys expecting? Same reason I don't take big brother seriously anymore. You see people hating on someone they hardly know. I still say kudos to this Iyabo in trying to get justice for Mohbad. It is things like that that matters to me.
DeleteNa wa o. So this lengthy epistle is not a good enough apology in your opinion. Yet you call yourself a Christian. Does she have to kill herself for you to believe she is contrite.
DeleteThank God for people like Funke Akindele, Lola Alao and co who have had both personal and professional relationships with her, who have spoken about how selfless she is. Not people like you, who judge her based on a scripted show without ever having a personal encounter with her.
This is a mature response to the allegations.
ReplyDeletewhich mature response...she is now making posts because her daughter got involved? what about mohbads father that lost his son and she has been accusing him of all sorts and has not let the man breet? Now her child is involved and she knows how painful it is....She just started, she will keep explaining. Her behaviour has nothing to do with the show but just brought it out..Iyabo is isck cos shes a bipolar and a dangerous one...those who know, know this.......
DeleteHer time of bullying is over......
God bless liz Anjorin for not giving up on dragging her......
sepeteri go explain tire
Whoever you are , you must really be. Mean person, kill her for you to be satisfied okay, swear with your life that you have not hurt anyone before ! Abeg drink some honey o, you really need it.
DeleteAnon 10
DeleteAnon 10:39, so with these slurs you wrote above, you think you are a better person than the Iyabo you are casting aspersions on her person?
DeleteOnline specialist with agbako diagnosis 😂😂
DeleteFine woman that all I see
ReplyDeleteThat's the beginning
ReplyDeleteLies! You’re a bully and that’s on periodt!
ReplyDeletei believe you iyabo.... i am sure evryone just did thier thing on the show for entertainment
ReplyDeleteExactly include the he-she that was on the show.
DeleteOk ooooo
ReplyDeleteYou guys should calm down!
ReplyDeleteIt’s just a show. They are paid to cause drama so it can trend and get views.
At least now you’re talking about the show. Mission accomplished.
For eg: I had to rewatch the pool scene and didn’t understand why they bashing chioma and co. The other pool was warm so it’s common sense to join Iyabo. Must everything be about Faith?
Laura that was making fun of Mariam confirmed it when she dipped her leg in the pool.
Even Mariam woke up with a cold the next morning
I don’t think faith is innocent. I’m not buying what she’s selling either. The packaging is too much. She seemed rigid.
Please don’t bring Tania back. I liked how Faith put her in her place at the breakfast table 🤣
Did you watch the show or clips?
DeleteOh Wow! Are you sure it is the same RHOL that you watched, lol
DeleteThe only thing you said right is it brining back Tania to the show everything else you gotta check it out again
DeletePlease someone should tell Laura to quit with the bleaching cream. She’s looking way older than her age.
ReplyDeleteShe go hear if dem tell her. She will tell you that her paternal parents were fair.
DeleteMao Akuh
😂😂😂😂😂😂
DeleteOh so Igbos dey bleach, wonderful! I bin think say na only Yoruba people sabi bleach and all Igbos are naturally fair skinned. Rubbish and nonsense.
DeleteHow will people watch the show if she's not dramatic?
ReplyDeleteHow will she be distinguished if she's not dramatic.
She might even be going through a lot of stress acting that thing.
We are all built different, she has a strong personality and character plus, that is just a TV program. She might not be a bully.
So being dramatic equates being a bully abi?
DeleteIf the producers saw everything and didn't remove it, who are we to condemn her behaviour?
DeleteI think it's part of the show.
Mao Akuh.
As in, I don't understand human beings
Delete😯
A bully always and remains a bully period.
ReplyDeleteApologies accepted please don't bully people again.
ReplyDeleteBut Iyabo na fine woman oooo with good stature
The most complex B
She is not and was not a bully. She was only entertaining.
ReplyDeleteAfter calling herself a bully
DeleteYes o!
DeleteShe was just doing what she does best.😎
Hmmm, telling Iyabo to go and sin no more is like eating and expecting not to fart🤦Whoh... Dey go dey alright las las... Their fights all join na still follow entertainment
ReplyDeleteEveryone can't like you, just do you.
ReplyDeleteLet her shutdown her gistlover blog and we’ll believe her
ReplyDeleteGbammm!!! Let her shutdown her gistlover blog then we go believe!!! Seconded!!!
DeleteShe's not gistlover.
DeleteAre you sure or you're just speculating?🙄
DeleteShe is not Gistlover but she knows who Gistlover is and they work hand in hand..
DeleteSee this one?
DeleteMary that one na lie, it’s because you never meet her for real life! She is a bully for real!!!
ReplyDeleteShe’s a real bully. Very evil. She will turn a whole village against each other. Her secrets will soon be out. Who God cannot catch, he has not created.
DeleteMadam apologize to Faith and not us. If you only wanted drama, we would have seen it. But you have hate in your heart for anyone that doesn't kiss your ass
ReplyDeleteSepeteri, go and apologise to Faith Morey you owe her an apology. We've seen how you treated her from episode 1 to the finale, I'm certain if she was the one that stepped on your train, there will have been a big fight. You looked for faults in everything Faith did, even when you meet with your puppets the conversation was always about Faith, where's the originality in you, I guess it's the bullying. I'll have said you should apologise to Laura too, but at least Laura showed she doesn't give any two fucks about you, so sit, be humble. All the cast of the show are equal, if you want to be respected on the show, then behave yourself and the respect you crave for will be given to you, but if you bring craze wnd disrespect trust me , it's just a matter of time, even your puppets will see through you one day and they'll also disrespect you....
ReplyDeleteAnd your name calling on her is not bullying
DeleteNawahh!
DeleteSome of you really take this reality show serious.😁
What is the meaning of sepeteri? I have been seeing it.
DeleteRemove that Saint from your name!
DeleteI never for once bought that idea of bullying. That was a show and she had to make it sell. This pretty lady who has always brought herself out to fight for others can not be a bully na, but as usual some enemies want to downplay her efforts. No matter how good you are, some people will want to rubbish you.
ReplyDeletePoint of correction, a pretty lady can fight for the bullied in public, yet be a bully herself. It's the same way a pastor can preach against men beating their wives, but is doing same to his wife at home. Not saying Iyabo Ojo is one for sure. I don't know her well enough to say.
DeleteMetoyou bullying is done in real life not in shows. She is not a bully at all.
DeleteShe a bully in real life. Trust me. Big bully. Bigggg.
DeleteBeautiful Queen mother ❤️
ReplyDeleteIt’s all for the show. You people should stop over reacting.
ReplyDeleteGo and sin no more
ReplyDeleteAs long as you are an avid viewer of RHOL, you are a lover of toxicity and no better than the Iyabo you are hating on. What is the moral of RHOL? just toxicity, vulgar language and superficiality.
ReplyDeleteI won't be caught dead or alive watching that show. Mere snippets I saw on DSTV advert made me realise I have a lot to lose if i watch that show
And you're typing this from a gossip blog?
DeleteOh really, I never knew is SDKB is a gossip blog. I thought SDK lifts stories posted by celebrities themselves on their page, and also news bulletin found in established media houses? Or is it that you are just so illiterate to understand the meaning of the word gossip?
DeleteSepeteri
ReplyDeleteReality shows are made for toxic people craving their fix. Whatever she was dishing on the show is what you people who watch it want to watch. If it was a polite tea party, I'm sure you will chase after the toxicity that is comfortable for you.
ReplyDeleteIyabo has not just stood up for Mohbad but for his widow and son and for that, anyone with a sense of justice will commend her.
Nice woman
