How can I thicken plantain fufu with the raw plantain? It comes out watery.

DeleteYou need some form of gluten to bind or hold the plantain fufu...You can use lafun, powdered tapioca or Phyllum Husk...
DeleteAdd just small quantity of water when blending. You don't need to add anything to thicken it.

ReplyDeleteHeartburn abi ulcer is dealing with me. I have been in and out of the hospital with dozens of medications and they are not helping. Make Una help me recommend natural ways I can get rid of this life threatening problem because it's making me lose strength daily
Moringa seed, cured mine, chew Two to three seeds in the morning before you eat anything, start drinking warn water immediately after chewing it. Wait for Two hours before eating anything. Take Turmeric on empty stomach and drink water, any day you take Moringa seed, leave the Turmeric, add half teaspoon of blended Turmeric in boiling water, boil for 5 mins, allow to cool, then drink it. Stay away from pepper, any spicy food and carbonated drink, drink water instead. avoid any lime, lemon, oranges for now until you are better.
DeletePut some piece of peeled unripe plantain in water in a bottle, leave it overnight and be drinking the water. Avoid skipping meals, if you must eat beans peel the coat before cooking, stay away from fried and spicy foods.

ReplyDeleteMy mom would use bug spray. I don’t like killing creatures unless they pose a threat so I leave them alone and they eventually move on. They are obviously coming into your home through some open area. Do you have the means to put mesh on your windows and close your roof if it open. How are they getting in to begin with?

Please this is what you do outrightly to rid your home and environment
of wall geckos since you said you running on low budget.
1)...Make a local efficient insecticide with:
~Garlic cloves(2)=N100. Buy tiny native ones not the bigger artificial
ones, wear gloves to peel,then mash it tied up in a knot in a
handkerchief, don't touch with hands for potenty to be retained.
~A small cup of ground tobacco(Utaba)=N50
~A small cup of ground Cameroun Black Pepper=N100. Please buy freshly ground.
~A small bottle of vinegar(Apple Cedar Vinegar is more potent though
expensive)=N300
~An old spray can like those for hair treatment or insect sprays.
Total=N500
Final Step:
Tie your nose with gas mask or hanky. Mix all
powder(tobacco+pepper+garlic) in a bowl and pour vinegar.
No water please. I repeat, No water.
Sift liquid using flour sieve or any tight sieve.
Place a clean hanky over the mouth of the spray can, use spoon to push
the mouth down to avoid spillage then gently pour the filtered mix
into the can. That is your Insecticide.
Remember that any residue from the mixture will block the spray pipe. Sift well.
2)...Spray directly in holes and crevices around the entrance of your
home. They love back of cupboards a lot. Cracks in your fence. Look
for the yellow eggs they hatch in between fences and holes on the
ground. Spray to contaminate holes and kill newborns.
3)...Collect fresh eggshells from the Mai_Indomie in your
neighbourhood. Yes! The Aboki frying egg. You need plenty or from a
Baker. Crush them and spray around doormouths. And behind your walls.
They hate the smell of eggs, reason they lay eggs in holes and go
away, then come back days later after incubation to crash shells when
newborns are set to crawl out. Hahaha
4)...This is the very last strategy. "Whispers" this one kills witches
in your area. Hahaha
Get 2 big broken Coconut shells. Pour dry leaves inside, pour cup of
cameroun pepper, small sprinkle of potash and small sprinkle of
tobacco. Set ablaze. And watch the sneezing and frowning, the lizards
will relocate. This is advised to be at 11am when people are out.
Prices of things may have increased a little,so check properly.

DeleteWhen I was into sunscreen always used Ombrelle. If you need something more natural Alba makes one, I used the purple bottle one and it goes on nicely, the Alba sunscreen has a short shelf life and expires fast, maybe a year max from purchase.

The only cream and soap he has used and still using is sebamed baby cream and Johnson baby soap. I tried changing the cream, but the dark areas became more darker so I had to continue with it.
