Sometime last week, an elderly woman lost her only son who was supposed to travel to Canada on this coming Saturday, and we went to commiserate with her, but she was way too broken to be consoled.

When this said friend came to the Mom's house, he lied that he hadn't seen his friend in weeks...
The late guys sis was too scared to tell their mom what he told her, but she finally did, the woman raised alarm and some community youths brought the guy over, and they beat him to a pulp and he confessed..

This guy said his late friend slept with his girlfriend, he said his anger was that his girlfriend denied vehemently, and said nothing of such happened that the guy did not get close to her talk less of touching her, he also said his friend swore to him denying it that if it's that he ever got close to his girl, let him not see anything Good in his life...

Due to lack of money, we have not been able to renew because my husband lost his job and has been job hunting before God came through for him this month. We begged our landlord for a little time to source for funds but he thinks we're trying to be smart. So he called on Monday and issued us 7 days ultimatum to vacate the house. No prior notice before now.

That six months notice is for a subsisting tenanacy,not one that has been determined by non-payment of rent when due. Non-payment of rent determines the tenancy and the person is only entitled to seven days notice to quit. Since November till March is Five month and a seven days written notice to quit is sufficient.

The moment your tenancy expires, you are no longer seen as a statutory tenant, but rather a tenant at will. This mean that a 7 days notice is all that you are entitled to by the provisions of the law.
While I sympathize with you, I also want you to look at it from the point of your landlord. November to March is already 5 months. The landlord has been fair too.
It is best you either pay something, even if it's half of the year. Or you pack out to avoid any embarrassments.
If it gets to court and you are eventually evicted, the Landlord will have the legal right to either seize your properties to recover the sums owed or freeze your bank account. I wouldn't wish that on any body at all.

Ruquaya was caught at the end of the series and that's because Jalal almost lost his life because of Ruquaya's mistakes and jealousy of Jodha and also she conspired against Jodha's business to destroy it.

The moment they get to know, they will begin to plot evil and plan against themselves not you, cos they will later reap the fruit of evil they sow.

The guy in that story wasn't a friend but an enemy in disguise.

ReplyDeleteSometimes I wonder if they have Sense at all or that they are just shallow minds because of how they treason.
I don't know you , you don't know me, we see each other because we live in the same area.
They will just sit in one dark corner of their houses, be arranging friends for you even have the gut to force them on your throat.
They will stay in their houses to command another person in another compound in her own apartment to move out or give you time when to do so, meanwhile all of them are almost tenants.
They will leave their wives to go and check another woman that has no business with them, what she does or what she is doing, Meanwhile some of them or their wives have nothing doing.
Let me laugh at their stupidity and come back........to be continued
I didn't know how or when time flies today. Mind was busy doing some homework ,before I knew it it was evening. Just feeling happy when I'm in my peaceful space. Only those with such feeling can relate.
