Coroner Says Late Dowen College Student Sylvester Oromoni Died Of 'Parental Negligence'

WHAT!!!!!!......I am so shocked to read this!!!
A Lagos Coroner inquest set up to unravel the circumstances that led to the death of Sylvester Oromoni Jnr., a 12-year-old student of Dowen College, Lekki, Lagos, has said that he died of natural causes. The coroner, Magistrate Mikhail Kadiri stated that the deceased’s death was avoidable but for parental negligence, while absolving staff of the college of any complicity.

    1. Septicemia (according to various autopsy reports and ultimately the Coroner's Inquest). He was at home without adequate medical attention for a week before giving up the ghost. May God rest his soul.

  5. Naija naija which way? Will these people make heaven🥺🤔, (well..who am I to judge) they should fear God o! Something that is so glaring it wasn't natural. From the picture, just seeing the boy's mouth, isn't it obvious it's a burn from a chemical ? Okay oo. Let God judge.

  6. It's worthy of note how Nigerian netizens seem to be quiet over this heart wrenching News. The few comments here says it all. It's just Sadddd. Where do we go from here?

  7. His father is the "Tony Kabaka" of Delta state.

I wonder why such a person did not take this issue to "the mattresses" but decided to take the legal route.

    Its shocking.

P.S: However, there is some "truth" in the judgement, as the first 36 hours of the incident, its said that instead of getting him medical attention, the father took the boy by road to Delta state to meet with his spiritual leader (Miyerijesu: The Bishop of the World) who gave him "miracle chewing gum" for the boy. This Bishop insists that any sick member of his church must never visit hospitals for help.

  11. I can never forget a video of Sylvester I watched, he was crying. You could see that he was in so much pain. It broke my heart that day. I can't even imagine how the parents felt watching their son in so much agony and eventually dying before their very eyes.

  13. This is so sad. If the boy wasn't maltreated in the school he won't be taken home in the first place. May God rest his soul.

  14. If money can obtain court judgement in Nigeria, is it coroner's inquest that money cannot buy?
