The shepherd of CCC International Headquarters, Ketu, Lagos, while defending his late father’s large family declared that no prophet in the Bible had one wife.
“Can I tell you something… (sic)? You see, in that scripture, Paul was only advising. Tell me in the Bible, which prophet of God had only one wife? Do your research and tell me,”
The late Oshoffa left 13 wives and 53 children behind raising concern about his lifestyle even as the leader of one of Nigeria’s Christian congregations.

I notice that white garment churches do not frown on polygamy. So they are following in their founder's foot steps. Hmmmmmmmm

Most prophets in the Bible were not even married, preacher man. Folks act like because a cultural practice of the day was mentioned in the Bible it means it was approved by God. I despise how some of these ppl have reduced God’s grandeur to some kind of overseer of human life, with nothing else to do but monitor or care about what humans are doing 24/7 like some bloody monitoring spirit. The egocentrism of humans is despicable, even in spiritual matters. We are not the center of life or God’s plan, we are one small part of creation. God is not sitting around with nothing to do just waiting to attend to our beck and call like some damn yard boy. Mtsscchhwww

The Bible did not condemn polygamy. it is only prohibited by those who have been appointed in the office of the church. read 1 Timothy chapter 3 and get clarification. if you don't occupy any position in the church, you can marry more than one as long as you can take care of them

The bible says who finds a wife finds a good thing not who finds wives. It also says to be satisfied with the wife of your youth not wives of your youth and it also say a man and woman will leave their parents house and become one like Christ and the church. The matrimonial bed must be undefiled. Even though polygamy was accepted in the Old testament with the coming of Christ and his sacrifice on the cross a man must marry a woman and be satisfied with her, just as the apostles advised. Anything aside of that is adultery, fornication and se*ual immorality.
