  1. Can hyperthyroidism cause serious mid chest apin, every evening till the middle of night everday? The person is on cabriod drugs. The person is always having a serious painful mid chest pain in which chest x-ray and endoscopy has been done but nothing was found.

Even ulcer drugs has been used including the liquid ones like gestid and the likes but its not going and the person is tired of taking drugs. Can it be spiritual? We have prayed and prayed and still praying.
Sometimes, small poo comes out of the person’s anus without the person knowing and the said person eats exceesivly yet, not getting fat but weighing like 36kg?

Any one who has experienced an hyperthyroidism patient should please, tell me more.
What can be done to the serious excruciating mid chest pain every night for the past 3 years now.

Pls, help me remember her in your prayers and any suggestion is kindly appreciated. Thanks all.

  9. I am someone who has a dream of traveling out of the country, but I have no means. Please guys is it possible for me to collect loan and travel out then when I get there I work and pay back the loan? It has always been my biggest dream to travel to Europe.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Your plan is flawed. You assume that you will get a job right away and that you will get paid enough that you will be able to sustain yourself and successfully pay back the loan. While I believe in positive thinking, you need to also be realistic. If you have to take a loan to travel out it means that you cannot afford it. Plus you have no real plan in place of how you will survive in the new country. You have not stated what your profession is or what research you have done about the prospective country.

I hope you are not the Poland person coming around again.

  17. Please who knows how to treat a drug addict? I have a cousin, 30years oh!
He has been to three different rehabilitation centres but after each treatment he comes out and goes deeper. First treatment was in a private facility. They discharged him after some months.
Within a few days of coming out he went back more deeply. The last one was in a psychiatric hospital and he was discharged after spending some time with them. He came out and we thought it was all over but we were wrong. His mother is a shadow of herself…praying and praying.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Treating addiction is difficult. Drug addiction changes the brain structure and many have lost critical brain cells from the drugs that makes them function completely differently. Rehab alone will not be enough. The person has to end friendships and contact with friends who are addicts and contact with dealers. Sometimes relocating to a new environment helps. If it is an opioid addiction, methadone treatment does help. Sometimes AA helps, sometimes changing the diet and getting on an exercise plan also helps. Most of all the desire to go clean has to be coming out of the person, it is they who have to want to change and get off the cycle of dependency. Love and patience are required in large amounts by friends and family. Addiction makes ppl do things that defy logic, the high is all they live for. The road to getting clean is slow and will have many obstacles. A psychiatric hospital alone is not the answer, the facility must have a specialization in treating addiction and have varied modalities in their treatment approaches. A one size fits all model will not work. Take care of your own well being too, you need good mental and physical health yourself.

Follow Dr Gabor Mate on social media, watch some of his videos and buy his books. He is an addiction expert who provides salient insight into the world of addiction.

Does ulcer affect conception and pregnancy? Am scared.

    1. No, ulcer does not affect conception and pregnancy.

As to what food to take and avoid, I can't advise because I take virtually all the DO NOT EAT food except pain killers which I know triggers it and I ensure I don't skip meals(healthy homemade food is very important) because I'm not sure what spices is been used to prepare the food.

  21. Good afternoon Bvs. Please, is chemical peel advisable for acne? I'm battling with serious acne that is affecting me already, I now leave work late to avoid people staring at me at evening time.
Please, also recommend affordable dermatologists around Surulere, Yaba or Bariga or anywhere on the mainland.
I visited Luth dermatology unit today, my appointment date is ending of next month

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It works well for some ppl and for others it causes a flare up of the acne. Using the right acid and correct percentage for your skin is critical. Acne can be stubborn and hard to treat with so many folks telling you all kinds of bullshit and even blaming the sufferer for their condition. Please stay strong through it all.

There used to be a dermatology specialist on the blog, hope they see your question.

    1. What does she need a lawyer for? Go staright to the marriage registry and make enquiries.

      Delete
    2. 180,000 sounds quite high for a court wedding. And there is no need for a lawyer unless they are doing a prenup or something like that. If they are just marrying let them go to the office themselves and find out the process and cost. So poor ppl can’t marry again in peace, 180,000, for what? Scammer lawyer on the damn move. ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Forgiveness does not mean forgetting. It takes time for the pain of the wrong done to you to subside. Just try to forget their existence. If you say and believe that the person is nothing to you then you will forget them quickly. When the thought of them come up just say they are nothing to me.

  24. Good day everyone, please which is more advisable to get a Federal Job in Nigeria e.g. Cbn, Firs, NPA, NDDC? Etc or travel out to Canada for greener pastures. I'm female in my late 20s thanks in advance I need genuine advice. Those who traveled how far? How is life over there? I do not want to regret my choices in the future.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Federal jobs are good.

Get one, when you are well balanced, then re evaluate your travel plans again if leaving that job is worth it.

If age is on your side, try Express Entry or school route if age is not on your side (quite expensive though, but faster).

Going to another country requires lots of strategy and brain work. The grass is not always green on the other side.

Getting a job in Canada is not as easy as the media paints it,. It differs for many, depending on each person's disposition and and strategy.

Above all, ask God to guide you.

Good luck on your final decision.
