Saturday in House Gists - Silence Is Golden Unless You Have Children

You will never fully understand how beautiful silence is unless you a child/children!....I remember the days that I would sleep until 12noon and have breakfast in the afternoon...
When there are kids in the house and there is silence, there is definitely something suspicious going on!

Funny thing is that the kids know when to strike ...lol
I remember watching them play and i fell asleep for a fraction of a second and woke up to quiet and peace..
I was about sleeping off again when i jumped up and went to look for them and what i saw is still in my minds eye... One was shaving his curly beautiful hair gorimapa!
Have you had a moment that was golden but you returned to see chaos?
Lets gist!

  4. I remember what my daughter did when she was still a toddler. On this fateful day, I was busy cooking in the kitchen, unknown to me that she had gone to her wardrobe, packed out almost all the clean clothes, took them to the bathroom and soaked all of them in water. I can't even begin to narrate my feeling that very day. Me wey wan finish for kitchen, make I come balance enjoy my meal. Children are lovely and fun to be with. At the same time, they can make you go nuts if care's not taken.

  6. Wow! This is my story o Stella. This happened to me last year April wen a friend of mine came visit from the state and came to visit me and my kid after so many years

We were childhood friends but things got better for her,she moved to the state with her husband.

She came to see my baby for the first time and she was very excited seeing him😊😊😊she cried of joy wen I told her everything that happened

We gisted and talked for long. And
wen She was going she gave my son a hundred dollar note and gave me 50 dollar to manage. I shouted and was damn happy because I knew it was a huge money for us after changing it

That day was on Sunday. So I said wen coming back from work I will change it at Aboki place not knowing I was fooling myself

Me and my child did videos with the money 😄😄 because that was the first time in my life touching dollar.

And went n keep it inside my office bag den slept off while I was playing with him

Behold my people wen I woke up both hundred n fifty dollars were all torn into pieces inside the bowl I dey use bath

I fainted for second I woke up n fainted again 😄😄 this story Im writing like this no be play oo

I cried for weeks even got sick but I no be beat my son because he means so much to me 😊I just thought that God knows everything that happened that day

So,we moved on abi wetin person go do😄😄

  8. Why are kids like that even........ if I mistakenly fall asleep why they are awake, something usually wakes me up to remind me that I will pay twice if something goes wrong. My 1year is always targeting to enter the bathroom when no one is on sight just to play with water.my 4years is always on the bacony to climb wherever he hears the voice of children since he learnt how to open the door.

    2. Pls always shut that door o. Just 2days ago, my friends son fell from a two storey building. The mum left the door open, and went to shower. He took a chair to the balcony, climbed and fell. Thank God nothing happened to him.

  11. Last week Wednesday. I was cleaning and asked them to go bath and wear their Pyjamas themselves. 2&4yrs. By the time I got to the bedroom, there was powder all over and they were looking like masquareds. Room wey I just sweep and mop was full of powder and they were sliding in the powder happily, laughing and jumping as they saw me. My dressing mirror and bed was not spared. I look this children and couldn't utter a word. God bless all mothers.

I quickly ran out of the sitting room looking for her got to the kitchen and what I saw almost made me 🤣🤣 Madame carry Blue band margarine rub all over her hair, face, body , My goodness 🤣 just burst out laughing

  17. My daughter has been fairly good in that aspect, hardly destructive or mischievous, but you see my wall? They suffered last year with crayon marks everywhere, white walls for that matter.
Thank God the houses here are made with wood, I bought Mr eraser cleaner and all the marks came off with the cleaner.
I'm back to watching like a hawk again with the younger brother and her.
I don't buy any white house upholstery because of them, my husband bought a white mattress and duvet for our room, the first question I asked him when he came back was whyyyyy, you don forget say you no be single man again.

  18. There are countless of such moments
The one I ll never forget is the day my 4years old son fed his barely 2 weeks old sister jollof Rice. I nearly ran mad, with my kpekus wey never heal properly
Since then, I ll rather back my baby to poo in the toilet than keep him anywhere near that boy

  21. Going Anon to post this to avoid being trolled. On three different occasions, my autistic child after pooing has been caught eating her poop. On all occasions, I had to brush her teeth, throw the toothbrush away and bathe her all over while shedding hot tears in the bathroom. The last time it happened, I shouted into her ears while crying, commanding her spirit in Jesus name to stop such nonsense that I'll not tolerate it again. As far as I'm concerned she's not allowed to do it again as I've had enough. She's 5.

  22. Sometimes, one of them is either emptying and eating my hair gel, ori, robb, powder.... or turning the kitchen floor into a swimming pool (oh lawd!) Or climbing a chair or stool to reach the upper part of the wardrobe... Or shredding a roll of toilet paper... Or stripping my onions naked... Or climbing windows and jumping down from them. I could go on and on. I dey treat body pain steady. No be small thing.
