    3. Good afternoon all.
During the week, someone asked if there was anyone from the blog who has used the NIMC self-portal, I was also interested, but there was only one response or so.

Like the BV that dropped that message, I want someone who had done it before through that channel to break it down for me on how they went about it (Change of name and change of date of birth).

Most importantly the exact documents they uploaded online that got the errors corrected or rectified. Yes, it's there on their website; I just want someone to explain how they went about it.

God bless you as you explain.

  2. Pls who has used silicone gel for scars removal? Does it work? O have scars on my face from serious pimples in the past, rough facial skin, can silicone gel smoothen it out?

    1. Look for aloe Vera plant. Rub on your face before you sleep but make sure you wash your face clean. You will feel some tingling, don't worry. It's normal. Use everyday morning and evening and thank me later. You can wear your facial cream on top and you will still be fine. It's just a natural gel serum. Use everyday for 30days to see results. Stop using any bleaching or toning cream if you are. Allow your face to breathe and clear out.

Never you depend on sleeping table to sleep. Firstly something is wrong in the body , insomia is just a sythom. Do you have any health issue e.g hbp , blood sugar, other causes are stress, alcohol, anxiety, drug abuse psychological problems poor eating habits( e.g eating heavy food at night). etc or emotionally imbalance. You need to check up very.
      On herbs to use
      1) Lemon balm take it as tea add honey a cup at night.
      2. sour sop leaf tea with honey
      3) Rauwolfia vomitoria ( Asofeyeje) leave
      4) banana peel tea ( ensure it is organic )
      5) Valerian tea ( you can get the powder
These are natural and will help but do check up

My BP if fine, my sugar level too is fine, checked them recently. I think it's anxiety and stress.

I will try some of the cheap natural remedies up there.

  4. Good afternoon BVs.
Please, I need your help on an "assignment".
So, where I teach, we (teachers) were assigned into groups. I (and two others) belong to the Igbo tribe.
Each group will give a presentation during the Yuletide season. Songs basically.
I know next to nothing but intend using the Google search app.
My partners aren't helpful on this and I don't want us to fail.
Please, what unique things can my group present?
Songs? What simple Igbo (Christmas) song can I learn easily and also teach the kids.
    Apart from songs, what else?
    Any outfit ideas?
If pointed in the right direction, I can take it up from there.
    Note: it's a secondary school.
    Thank you.

    1. If you are in Nigeria, your chances of getting remote jobs abroad are very slim. Nigeria has a bad name, thanks to yahoo boys. You will be chatting with a prospective employee, but once you tell them that you are a Nigerian, they'll block you.

My sister/brother, if you can, learn a skill that you can use to earn money here in Nigeria.

  9. Good afternoon everyone. My daughter had convulsion around 7 months old while we were forced feeding her, she later regained consciousness. Now she is 1 year 2 months, she had another convulsion. I took her to the hospital and I was told it's febrile convulsion. I am reading it's causes and it's saying epilepsy. I am scared. Please what do I do

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Are you sure you read it well, google will bring so many info that you need to really read different journals to be sure.
In my own understanding febrile convulsion is caused by high temperature caused by fever and as they grow the seizure reduces.
I rebuke epilepsy for your child in Jesus name.ooo

      Delete
    2. I think neurologists are the ones who deal with this condition, don’t quote me though. She needs to be under the care of a specialist and you all need to be prayerful.

      Delete
    3. High temperature can cause it, but I think only a medical personnel can diagnose the cause, I join my faith with yours and reject epilepsy for her.

Was she running temperature before the convulsion?

      Delete
    4. Dont panic
Convulsion is common among young children below 5yrs. Just don't allow her high temperature to stay fpr long before doing something to reduce it. She will outgrow it

      Delete
    5. Anon 14:00: Please, kindly go and see Pediatric neurologist for further evaluation. It’s better you that now she’s still young.

Some outgrow it but always handle high fever carefully. Have thermometer and always use tepid sponge lukewarm water or bath them with it. Leave to dry(first aid).

Check if it’s malaria, then give anti malaria medication and give panadol for three to four days, three times a day but after two or three days it doesn’t take effect. Do see a Pediatrician because it might no longer be the case. Divine healing Unto your child In Jesus Name, Amen 🙏
(Sorry for any typo error cos I’m in a hurry)

    6. Febrile seizures are convulsions that can happen when a young child(6months to 6years) has a fever above 100.4°F or (38°C). (Febrile means "feverish.") The seizures usually last for a few minutes and may stop on their own.
The infection that is causing the fever will need to be treated example: malaria, malaria, MALARIA ooo, pneumonia, urinary infection, meningitis etc
Febrile seizures are not the same thing as epilepsy.
What is the relationship between epilepsy and febrile convulsion? Children who have had a febrile seizure have a slightly increased chance of having epilepsy later in life, but this is rare. The more the seizures, the more the risk. Please buy a thermometer today!.
Tepid sponge your child, give paracetamol syrup immediately your child has a fever. You can find out the cause of the fever and treat. But reduce the temperature immediately.
PS: anything above 37.5 Celsius is fever.
You can’t tell if your child will have epilepsy now. It’s too early. Pray against it and be vigilant

  10. How does the first or federal government bond (FGN) works?

If I start with 300,000 naira, how much will it generate monthly?

    Is it low risk?

And few other things I need to know.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Instead of losing your money to the government, fix a date let's go and drink pepper soup with it. I have read stories of people who invested in FGN bond and they never got back their money or dividends.

    3. I really don't know about FGB but I have average knowledge about Treasury bills. You go to any bank and ask if they have any for sell, how many days and what rate. The rate currently is too small and that 300k might not give you up to 20k in 365 days. Fix deposit is even the worst currently because the rate is laughable

    2. Be sure it's not from her body cream too,if possible state the Brand name here so skincare gurus can help check if it contains steroids or any other thing that can increase stretch marks.

But if after the analysis and hers is a natural effect, then teach her how to carry her stretch marks with confidence.

Meanwhile Original Shea butter is great too, would help fade the stretch marks to a "reasonable" extent when applied..and with her confidence plus healthy self esteem she is good to go..

      Hope this helps.

    3. She probably put on a bit of weight fast and it caused the stretch marks. Get her to stop gaining weight for now and have her use Shea butter or cocoa butter

  22. Are UI/UX designers still needed in this Nigeria? I am about to start a UI/UX course but people are saying that the market is oversaturated and that my services won't be needed because most we developers can do what a UI/UX designer can do. How trust is this?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. ...How true is this?

      Delete
    2. The trick is to be the best in your craft, and keep adding more certifications or services to your portfolio..

Don't stop at being only a UI/UX designer;rather be that and more;such that when you offer your service to a potential client;they would see you as a full package and more, because you have other skills which other UI/UX designers don't have.

For example I didn't stop at being "Just a Techie",I went into Tech Biz too such that when I'm on a project with a Nigerian client and they need any Tech gadgets for the project or more as well,I can be a consultant too for the best device they need, plus also give the best price for that gadget;and still deliver altogether.

And even when I don't have a particular gadget,I give the best referrals and they get the project done offline too..

That way my client doesn't have to pay another consultant for double services, rather they have a need to retain me for that project and more, cos of the value they believe I would offer.

I hope you understand the illustration above? and hope it helps.

    1. Keep away from all dairy, greasy and processed foods. You can do the steam inhalation again but with menthol crystals, just use a small amount because the menthol crystals are strong. You can also use eucalyptus oil for inhalation and drink lots of fluids and eat vitamin c rich foods and drinks. There is also the option to drink pineapple use and eat lots of pineapples if you like them. Also do garlic tea
