CHRONICLE OF A MARRIED MAN

I detest eating outside, and eat at home partly because it is healthier,(I have a very sensitive stomach) and also because it is more economical.

I get running stomach easily.
If I eat food cooked with "white Maggi" I purge.
If I eat food not well cooked, I purge.
If I eat food that was contaminated in the process of cooking or it was served with a dirty plate, I purge.

For instance, if a cockroach or fly had fallen inside the pot of food and I eat it or the plate was not well rinsed while washing.

The above are just some of the things that make me purge. So I only eat out if there is no other option, like when I travel and I'm usually very careful.
When I was a bachelor, I had more kitchen utensils than some women.
I know some bachelors who do not have a pot or stove in their kitchen, such men are the ones that women use food to capture. Lmao.

As a married man, any day my wife is not strong or she travels, I enter the kitchen and cook very delicious food.
I see some married people buying cooked food and wonder what could be wrong. Well to each his own.

Oga please your own is too much!!!
How do you know that cockroach flew pass the food? how do you know the plate was not well rinsed? you may have a medical condition that is triggered by certain food that you are yet to know of oh.....
I buy food a lot and hubby is OK with it so please i beg you.

  3. I was reading and laughing at the man's tales or rather, what feels like signals of OCD in disguise and was expecting Stella to hail him in the end.

Oh well, his end note suggests so, since he's taking pity on fellow married men who aren't "homely" or blessed with his type of "culinary skills" as portrayed in his story.
Until I got to the end and saw Stella's reaction. I hollered with laughter even more 🀣🀣🀣.

Stella, he says he helps his wife in cooking so she won't be over worked. It's fine if it works well for them.
I, on one hand prefer home made food to outside own. On days I'm too tired to cook, I enter a restaurant and buy food for everyone, after telling hubby cos he cooks too and might offer to cook.
I remember one time we quarreled and he said he won't buy foodstuff again , we should be buying food outside. On his way out to work, he would leave money on the table every morning for me to buy food for the kids, I would quickly cook concoction rice and boil eggs for them before they leave for school. In the evening, I would quickly cook small soup for us and eat up before he comes back.
One evening after three days, he came home early and caught us eating egusi soup and fish, the food entered his eyes and he asked our eldest daughter to let him have a taste.
The next morning, he gave me money to go and buy foodstuff.

    1. I also love home-made food but I get tired some days, especially weekdays and we eat out.
Hope your husband cooks regularly because my dad was a chef but he left all the family cooking to my mom after children came. Making her stressed.

  10. I sense a calling. Maybe you are meant to fix the issue of people eating and having running stomach. You can open a restaurant and train people on how to serve with posh and clean plates. Just do something about it instead of complain.

  11. Let me rain on all of y'alls parade particularly our married poster. Globally, there are acceptable thresholds of insects and fecal matter of rodents permitted in food products. Coffee or chocolate drinks for instance are processed with these impurities as they can't remove them 100%. So oga married man, you drink bournvita when you small abi? What of coffee now wey you don grow?

You drink garri too I am sure. Well except you make your own garri, you have no idea what is also in your garri.

What's worrying you is IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). Allow us make we eat our outside food.
