Woman: yes I married a man from umueze. My bride price was paid. We are not together again. It is mistake I use to enter this journey of husband. My family abandoned me. Since I married chinedu I have seen serious suffer ness. EVen while pregnant I went around doing hard labors for things to be well with us.
This one you are seeing me shining like this.
Chinedu my husband didn't take care of me; I just stayed in the marriage because I was using it as an avenue to take care and train my children.
Chinedu is a jobless fellow. Committing domestic violence against me all the time. I have evidence(...with authority) or should we call people let's ask them to confirm?. He beats me anyhow, there was one time he came to my provision shop he saw a man sitting down drinking mineral he hit saying that is my boyfriend. I have scar from the beating (....pointed to a scar on her forehead).
He beats me anyhow and anywhere. There was a time he was beating me I ran to my father's house for safety before I reached, he was there already and he continued the beating.
I did a lot of projects in my husband's house supported him financially.
His family were not in support of his behavior towards me.

The child's father just made life worse for her. This is the nickname his new wife, her cousins and friends will have for his children from his earlier marriage. When his unfortunate friends start to groom or ask her out, this would be their excuse -she is the child of her mother.

Not necessarily so. Abusers will use divide and conquer tactics in the household. A growing child may develop to believe the abuse they see being doled out is justify, especially if the abuser never abuses the child and makes them the object of their affection. In the case where it is an abused mother, the child then takes on the emotional role of the mother to the abuser and the real mother exists in a sort of househelp/handmaid role - where the child grows up completely unbonded to the abused parent and has no empathy toward them or the abuse they experienced.

Nigeria has over 200million people with so much ish going on and one woman in one village who has a daughter is caught with some man (all involved are unknown peeps).
