Singer Sheyi Shay Reveals She Dated Colleague Vector The Viper

Singer Sheyi Shay has revealed that she and colleague Vector used to be an item.
While speaking during a recent episode of "Sharing with Sheyi", she recounted a throwback from her acting debut in the 2018 Nollywood movie;"Lara and the Beat".

In her words;

"I want to go back in time to 2018 when I starred in a movie called Lara and the Beat,it was myself, Somkele and Vector the viper, it's crazy cause a lot of people had been asking that why was the chemistry between me and Vector so strong like why was he so realistic... 

Well,many many years ago before I became the Sheyi Shay that you all know, Vector and I were an item and it was very natural of course to fall into character and when I found out and he was going to be Mr Beats of Lara and the Beats, I was like ahhh, this going to be easy, Vector is an amazing person, he incredibly super intelligent being but he's also really a very lovely guy.

Now the funny thing is that his wife now was on the set and she was at every scene where he and i kissed or did anything intimate, and it was crazy because she was such a good spot, even she was like oya na, do the kissing, do the scene and he would be like OMG though it was such a funny experience but he and I had remained great friends regardless and we were friends at the time of us shooting that movie, so it was awkward for him and it was very awkward for me too but it was very funny.

Those particular scenes were just easier to do because we were familiar with each other and everybody was such a great support system".
