Tuesday In House News

 Hailings Oh....

TUESDAY IN HOUSE MEMO
I am in one of those my happy moods where i can just chook hand inside my wallet and gift someone everything inside it...LOL....abeg na lie oh!!
So Yesterday was a little drama in the comment section but today i will not respond but may decide to enable your nonsense if its worth my traffic....

Being a BV doesnt make anyone my friend......I pick my friends very carefully and no friend of mine whether BV or not would ever go anonymous in the comment section to drag me for nonsense...

What!!!....Yesterday i checked myself, looked at the friends i have, the people i know and then i goggled my name on the Internet and i decided to respect myself..I will not respond to your ish again.........You will always be a nonentity so continue hiding and dragging me.....They told me you were the devil itself and i fought with everyone who told me things, well well well WHO KNEW!!!

The three people who were part of the Ummugate Nigerian Limited may have stolen from the giveaways but God will forgive them when they repent honestly..that is one thing that surprises me about God...that no matter the crime he forgives........ The person who has been posting that they should sue me, you are a piece of cow dung from a cow bum so please there Okay? Take your alligator breathe and stay off what does not concern you.....Thank you
Yesterday, I made lamb chops, potato slowed cooked in salty butterred water...beetroot salad and some carrot salad... the Kitchen had this nice scent that still lingers...... .....Today i am making spaghetti jollof with .....Dunno yet...
Make una sef dey share wetin una cook nah, maybe i can pick something and google how its cooked.....

I am too happy to let anything bother me.........I think i will buy small stout this weekend and mix it with something to dilute it and drink.......#enjoyingmyselfistheissue

TEN THINGS YOUR KIDS WILL NEVER FORGET ABOUT YOU

As parents, we often think that the biggest impact we have on our children is in the grand gestures the vacations, the big birthday parties, the toys, the gifts. But the truth is, children are more likely to remember the subtle, consistent, everyday experiences of love, guidance, and presence. These are the imprints that last a lifetime and shape the kind of adults they become.

Here are 10 unforgettable things your children will never forget about you things that will echo in their hearts long after they've left your home.

1. How You Made Them Feel
Your children may not remember everything you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel. Did they feel loved? Safe? Respected? Valued? Or were they constantly criticized, belittled, or neglected? Emotional memories are the most powerful. Your tone, your touch, your expressions of affection or rejection—these all shape their self-worth.
“People will forget what you said… but people will never forget how you made them feel.” – Maya Angelou

2. The Time You Spent with Them

Whether it's bedtime stories, homework help, or simple walks in the park, children cherish the moments when you chose to be with them over everything else. They will remember the undivided attention, the laughter during playtime, and the comfort of knowing you were present—not just physically, but emotionally.
Time is the currency of love for a child. It says, “You matter.”

3. Your Reactions During Their Mistakes

How you responded when they failed, lied, broke something, or made a poor decision will never leave their memory. Did you erupt in anger or guide them with understanding? Children need correction, yes—but correction drenched in love and laced with patience is what transforms them.
Harsh words may solve a moment, but they often wound a lifetime. Gentle discipline helps children grow while still feeling secure.

4. Your Character and Integrity

Children are silent observers. They watch what you say and do. They will never forget your honesty—or your lack of it. They remember how you treated strangers, handled stress, managed conflict, and respected others.
If your actions contradicted your words, they noticed. If you lived by your values, even when it was hard, that left a mark. You are their first example of what it means to be a man or woman of character.

5. Your Love for Each Other (or the Lack of It)

If you are married, your relationship with your spouse is a model for love and marriage in your children’s eyes. They watch how you speak to each other, how you argue, how you reconcile. A home full of affection and mutual respect creates emotional stability; a home full of strife plants seeds of fear or confusion.
Even in cases of single parenting, the way you handle co-parenting, boundaries, and respect will shape your child’s view of love and commitment.

6. Your Faith and Values

The prayers you prayed, the scriptures you quoted, the moral compass you lived by—these will become part of your child’s internal wiring. If you taught them to honor God, show kindness, serve others, and stand for truth, you gave them something the world cannot take away.
Even if they drift, those seeds often bring them back. Faith leaves fingerprints on the soul.

7. The Sacrifices You Made for Them

Children may not fully grasp your sacrifices while they are young, but as they grow, they begin to see the hours you worked, the pleasures you denied yourself, and the dreams you paused so theirs could live.
They remember the nights you stayed up when they were sick, the meals you skipped so they could eat, and the life you built around them. They may not say it often—but they will never forget it.

8. The Words You Spoke Over Them

Encouraging words have power. So do destructive ones. “You’re smart,” “I’m proud of you,” “I believe in you” — these words build a confident child. “You’re stupid,” “You’ll never amount to anything,” “Why can’t you be like your sibling?” — these cut deeply and take years to undo.
Your words create an internal voice in your child’s head. Be the voice of life, not of limitation.

9. The Traditions and Memories You Created

Friday night dinners, Sunday devotionals, bedtime prayers, special songs, games you played together, vacations you took—these form the joyful soundtrack of your child’s upbringing.
Children don’t just remember what you did. They remember the rhythm of life in your home. Traditions create connection, identity, and warmth. They’re the memories they’ll carry into their own parenting one day.

10. Whether You Believed in Them

When everyone else doubted them, did you believe in their potential? Did you nurture their gifts, push them to try again, and remind them that they are destined for greatness?

Your belief gives your child permission to dream. When they recall the one person who always stood by them — in their wins and their losses — they will think of you.

Your children may forget the clothes you wore, the car you drove, or even the job you held. But they will always remember your love, your presence, your words, and your character. Every day, you’re writing your legacy into their hearts. Make it a legacy worth remembering.

Let your children say years from now, “My father was there for me,” or “My mother loved me deeply,” or “My parents taught me how to live, love, and lead with integrity.”
Because what your children never forget… becomes what they one day pass on.

10 SCENES YOUR CHILD/CHILDREN SHOULD NEVER WITNESS

1. You and your spouse sleeping on different beds and in different rooms in the same house. It scares them

2. You and your spouse insulting each other and using curse words. They start to respect you less

3. You beating up your spouse. Your son is exposed to the evil side of masculinity, your daughter grows up wary of men

4. You and your spouse fighting. Your children will begin to feel less safe at home

5. You and your spouse attacking your child, not believing in your child, talking down at your child. He/she will psychologically run away from home

6. You and your spouse competing against each other. They grow up thinking family is not unity

7. You having an affair. Unfaithfulness hurts children the most, they just don't get to say it because they don't have a voice

8. You disrespecting your husband. Your son will learn to be defensive and your daughter will learn to be spiteful

9. You abdicating your responsibility as a parent or spending less time at home. Your child will feel unloved

10. You and your spouse giving each other silent treatment, banging doors, being rude to each other, walking away when the other shows up in the room. It breaks the heart of your young one. #Truth#
You will not fail in marriage in Jesus name

  3. Even when you feel stuck, you're still moving forward. Resting, thinking, or just being are all part of your growth. These moments aren't wasted they're necessary. You may be gathering strength, clearing your mind, or allowing new ideas to form. Growth doesn't always show itself right away, but that doesn't mean it's not happening.
You're not behind. You're exactly where you need to be. Life isn't a race, and your journey is unique to you. There's no need to compare yourself to others. Trust that you are progressing at the pace that's right for you. When you feel stuck, take a moment to breathe and reset. It's okay to pause and take care of yourself. You don't have to rush. Sometimes the best thing you can do is trust the process, even if it's unclear right now.
Remember, it's okay not to have everything figured out. Uncertainty and moments of doubt are part of the journey. They don't mean you're failing-they mean you're growing. Keep believing in yourself, and know that, even when things feel still, you are moving forward.
Take a deep breath, reset, and trust your journey. You are exactly where you need to be. Keep going, and things will unfold in their own time.

    I stumbled upon thus question online a while back;

What's the one trait that separates true intelligence from just sounding smart and instantly tells you someone's actually got brains, not just charm?

My answer: To me, true intelligence lies in arguing points respectfully, without resorting to personal attacks. It's a rare but valuable skill.

  31. Stella, your comment struck me about God's forgiving nature.
His nature is unchanging, He is love, mercy, and justice all at once.
His willingness to forgive is not dependent on the severity of the sin, but on the sincerity of the repentance. As it says in Isaiah 1:18, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow."
When someone truly turns away from their wrongdoing and seeks Him with a genuine heart, He not only forgives but also restores. It's a reminder of the boundless grace available to every soul, no matter their past.

  33. The article on ten things your kids will never forget about you are absolutely right. Spot on!

I was on the phone this morning with my sister and amidst our convo, we deviated to concerns about how rebellious and sometimes disrespectful the Gen Zs are, how the disciplinary measures meted out on the kids of these days have dwindled and how it may shape their future.

We remembered how our parents disciplined us and at some point, we felt they hated us. But looking back now, we're thankful for all of those. It shaped us morally and otherwise.
By discipline, I mean, that constant nudge to go to church, (Catechism classes, never to miss Mass on Sundays), instilling respect for elder ones(you dare not engage in a first fight with your senior in our home).
Those memorable times when my dad returns from work, we run to him in warm embrace, he carries and then playfully uses his beards to make that tingling feels on our face☺️. Oh how I loved those moments.
The morning and evening family devotions.
The list goes on. These and many more have shaped my life personally. I look back, and I'm super thankful that God put me in this family of mine.

    Enough with the reminiscence😄😄.

Good afternoon fellow Ville residents ✌🏻🥂

  50. I saw a video on Facebook and my blood just dey hot . Can you imagine a school owner saying because the school is short of cleaners that pupils not students o should poo at home before coming to school, a 4 year old was pressed but because of the warning she couldn't go to the toilet until she messed herself up and the same school owner beat the child up for messing herself. The girls mother went there to have a talk with the school owner but the owner said the talk is irritating cos the mother should have allowed the child to poo at home before coming to school, and blowing plenty grammar, some so called school owners are not worthy of being in care of children
