It was gathered that about seven persons, mostly students were shot at different locations by the gunmen who also allegedly abducted two lecturers.
According to an eyewitness account, some of the victims were shot at a drinking joint at Tipper Road, while others were shot at some hostels.
The source disclosed that the attackers came in two vehicles and after attacking a drinking joint around Total Filling station area, then began to attack people in their hostels.
The gunmen attacked Total Area, Victoria Point Drinking Joint and then some hostels. We heard there was another group operating on bike. Probably they were the ones moving round shooting at people”, the source said.
