Durov said he’s the official father of six children with three different partners. He also started sperm donation fifteen years ago and said more than 100 babies had been conceived that way. He doesn’t want his kids to touch his fortune for 30 years.
He’s worth $13.9 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
He said:
“I want to specify that I make no difference between my children. there are those who were conceived naturally and those who come from my sperm donations, They are all my children and will all have the same rights.
I wrote my will very recently, I decided that my children would not have access to my fortune until a period of thirty years has elapsed, starting from today.”

That's really thoughtful of him. I hope this announcement will not cause a scramble of some sort for the donation of his semen to gather more children. What am I even saying? Of course that is going to be the case; except he has officially closed the door to any further opportunities...
ReplyDeleteThe one that makes me sad is calling women "barren" in church by some Pastors when calling them out for prayers or during sermons. God said in the Bible that none shall be barren in the land and yet some Pastors use the word "barren" for women TTC. How about calling them women trying to conceive (TTC), or women having delay in conceiving, or women looking for the fruits of the womb instead of using the term "barren". In some cases, some of the "barren" women are not infertile but the husbands are. In some other cases, both husband and wife are ok but due to some unexplained reasons, pregnancy isn't just happening. I wonder why Pastors who should know better, are the ones doing this May God wipe away every tear from women TTC.
