I'm so sad cos of the news I heard....
There's this lady I knew back in the days, she fell in love with a fine young man but the guy was still serving his master then...
Along the line, she got pregnant, and they agreed to abort the baby but on getting to the hospital, they found out it was twins, they flushed the first one while the second baby rotted in the womb...
Complications happened and the womb was removed, the news went round, everyone blamed her but this guy stood by her, years later, he was settled and he started his own life, after some years he got married to this same girl and they lived for years without children...
He woke up one day and decided that he needed children from his loins, and with the help of his family, he married a new wife, the other woman still accepted because he promised her an undivided attention..
The new wife started popping out babies almost immediately, with time the guy fell in love with his new wife and kids, and she started living like the lonely widow, life became miserable..
At some point, this man started urging her to move on and move out, he even promised to give her some money, rent an apartment and then open a shop for her, will that heal her lonely heart?? Hmmmm
When she couldn't change his mind, she decided to do as she was told to avoid them throwing her out, he settled her and she left.
I got a call this morning that she died inside the house and from the look of her corpse, she might've kpaiid a few days before she was found...
A lot of us will be quick to call the man wicked but aren't we all? We are all selfish to our needs, sometimes it is not about what we want, it's about what we need, what this lady lacked was self love cos if she had loved herself enough, no matter how naive you're, you will put yourself first, life no get duplicate.
if you lose your life while trying to please anyone, you go kpaii sarraa and the person go still move on, heal and choose someone else, Self love is everything...
I am saddened by her demise but am also seeing her story as something that should be used to teach young minds about the importance of putting oneself first...

They think if men were women they would allow all these nonsense all in the name of one yeye boyfriend. Men love themselves toouch and ladies should try and love themselves too. Even in marriage sef women should apply sense.
The question you asked. Apparently they didn't know she carried two babies. There was one lady who aborted and started feeling pain only to go back to the hospital and the nurse told her there was another baby there. Thank God she went there on time.
This is very ignorant talk. First about the abortion: what she had was most likely an incomplete miscarriage and the womb was most likely punctured necessitating the removal (if that's true). Fetuses reside in one chamber and twins may in some cases, share one sac, so how is one removed and the other left?? Most post abortion complications are infectious. It may affect fertility in the long run but it's in rare instances they lead to removal of the womb, except a penetration or perforation occurred.
DeleteSecondly: Abortion can't be blamed on men. Delivery or the refusal to, is at the sole instance of the woman. That's the case the world over. It's the same responsibility we should have deciding who goes between our legs and HOW they do so. There may be exceptions but in most cases, this is so.

ReplyDeleteThere are 8 billion ppl on the planet, all stories won’t be the same. Being discarded by someone you love has to be a horrible experience. All religious books state the importance of putting God first in one’s life. If ppl should practice this to the letter stories like this would not exist. Truth is, men do not like women who love God more than them, they want to be number 1 and women are wired to please men, so that is the perpetual issue. Who will choose God above all others on earth?
