Nigerian Netizens Jubilating Over Death Of EX President Buhari...

Nigeria's EX President Buhari will be buried in his home town Daura today Tuesday July 15, 2025 and current President Tinubu has shut down the Economy to honor him.....
Whilst plans are ongoing for his burial, some Nigerian Netizens are celebrating his exit...

Are you among those celebrating his demise? What is your reason for doing so? I had a brief encounter with him some years back when he visited Berlin, his eyes were deep and penetrated me when he looked at me in that town hall meeting, fear enveloped me...LOL
I wish him safe Journey back to his maker as he is laid to rest today.....Please stop rejoicing that he has gone and pray for yourself that you would have achieved something in life when it reaches your turn to pay the debt...

  4. Lol Stella, what's that second paragraph biko😂😂. Say na his eyes penetrated her and fear enveloped her. You're too dramatic😂.

Omo X comrades wowed me oo. People were literally on a giveaway spree because of this incident. I even saw a video in one of the Northern states where people were rejoicing in the streets over his death.

In the end, my take home from all of these is, live aright. Leave good footprints on the sands of time. So that your legacy will be remembered for good. It's really a shame that someone's demise is bringing happiness to three-quarter of the citizens of a nation he once chaired.

    1. Which one is a fulfilled life? Your definition of a fulfilled life is flawed. It's not about how long, It's about how well.
People expressing joy over someone's demise isn't a good look for someone who lived a "fulfilled life".

Make we dey leave religious sentiments aside sometimes dey talk true.

    4. @Posh..did he live a fulfilled life or he lived long? People are angry, they are hungry and they have to blame their leaders, only very few will be restrained enough not to speak evil of the dead...but then again, have youb ever come across the scripture that says when the wicked king dies the people rejoice???

When politicians started declaring assets and he kept going on and on about corruption, we were beyond glad, we thought he would fix this country.

He was freaking complacent, so clueless, the worst!! How can he say he did his best for Nigeria?? Sir you did absolutely nothing, he didn't handle the End/Sars saga well, he handled nothing well. He was just a like a statue in that office.

  15. Who remembers Operation Python Dance I and II?
Over 1000 unarmed Igbo youths were slaughtered in cold blood.
The military opened fire on peaceful protesters, turning our streets into killing fields.
That was the beginning of the brutal militarization of the South East.

Muhammadu Buhari ordered and oversaw those operations.

For example Tinubu's daughter(the lesbian in New York)is currently being dragged to Hades and back on twitter. Someone called her a 2 bedroom flat 🤣🤣🤣 because she is frontally and posterior challenged. Who raised us to be like this?

  21. The man ruined Nigerian politics. He is the first politician to defy court orders. He reduced the Judiciary to zero moral standard and other politicians are now towing that part. Afterall, if Buhari could do it, what stops them from doing same and even worse. What about his nonchalant approach to solving issues that requires immediate attention? If Buhari was the president during the Ebola crisis the virus would have spread like wild fire, it would have taken him up to one week to send delegates who are specialized in taking care of that. Buhari, you didn't leave a good legacy at all.

    ReplyDelete
  22. The same thing I was telling someone who was rejoicing over his death, Buhari died at a very ripe age, ruled under military regime and democracy, he was a grand father and maybe a great grandfather, and once someone is dead he/she doesn't know what is happening or how people react to his/her death, and those telling his family to see how people are reacting, you think his family cares, there is more than enough money for their 5th generation so why should they care, I heard that was the same way people jubilated when Abacha died but up till today his family are still enjoying more than some wealthy families in the world.

Take it or leave it, Buhari lived a fulfilled life and died at a very ripe age, your definition of fulfilled life might be different from his own, even though he caused pains to Nigerians that doesn't change the fact that he lived a fulfilled life for himself and his family, as he is dead now he doesn't know any other thing going in this world, whether his death is being celebrated or not does not concern a dead man.

  26. When we remember that we in this world to make a difference we will change our thought process. Bad leaders all over the world are always ridiculed and abused after they die. We rise by lifting others! Buhari was judged by what he did in 8 years of office. Let us tell ourselves the truth Nigerians voted for him BUT it did not go well for Nigerian citizens! We need to look inwards and try to vote credible people into power BUT that also is elusive because almost all Nigerians are corrupt not contented. Nobody should tell Nigerians how to mourn their leaders their works and leadership qualities should precede them.

  31. People rejoicing over his death are just daft in my opinion, he lived a life very well spent, he achieved a lot during his life time and died at a very ripe age, there's nothing to mock about it, 82 years of age isn't a joke, whether he was ill or not before he died is nothing to mock about, where there are many people that are ill even in their unripe age, and a lot of old people are always sick of one illness or the other before they die.
What I've noticed about Nigerians is that a lot of them are very frustrated, they hate on politicians and rich people and their children no matter what they do, they won't still like them, and always wish them evil.
Most people that are even mocking him can't even rule their house or family, let alone a whole country.
I'm not saying Buhari didn't have his fault or I like the way Nigeria turned to in his regime, because his regime affected almost every one including me, but I can't mock anyone that's dead, it's up to him and his maker, May his soul rest in peace.

    5. All of you coming under my comments aren't okay, is there any politician you people ever like, even there were so many people that mocked Yaradua when he died despite people saying his reign was good.
Yes I don't hate him and neither do I like him, but I won't mock him either, especially when he's dead and doesn't even know how people are reacting after his death, it's not as if he didn't finish his tenure before he died, so what's the difference whether I mock him or not.
Besides, mocking someone who died at old age is daftness to me, when there's no any impact he's going to make in Nigeria again whether he's still alive or not, it's like mocking a dead mad man that has no any impact in life again.
I voted for him in his first tenure and didn't vote for anybody during his second tenure because I wasn't pleased with the way he handled Nigeria, and I don't even believe in any of the politicians again.

  32. Buhari has died and many of us are dragging and trashing his legacy. I agree he failed as president, I agree he brought the country backwards, all these are FACTS.

Now, after dragging him, make sure in your own personal life and work, you are better than he was. I have seen people dragging Buhari who couldn't even manage an ordinary class rep position. I have seen people dragging Buhari who ran away with students money both as fellow students and even lecturers.

To such people, when you die as you eventually will, you will also be dragged. It is therefore important that you ensure you have a good legacy. Some people are even praying for the current incumbent to d1e too, he will surely leave one day. Just make sure that when he goes, you do better than he is doing. Many of us would fail if given the opportunity to fix Nigeria. We know it but for now, let's all pretend like we are more competent than Buhari.

He handled Nigeria poorly, no doubt, but I'm less concerned about his death, and there's nothing to mock about.
