Actor Mary Njoku Drops Shocker Post

I have never read anything like this before and I am quite surprised!!!
She says that you might be trying to Bless someone that God is trying to punish!!!

She wrote:
‎ "Be careful who you pray for sometimes you are trying to bless someone that God is trying to punish.
‎You are fasting, interceding and nothing is shifting. Before you lose sleep, pause there might be a reason heaven is silent.
‎A hidden sin, a consequence something you don't know and may never know.
‎So be wise be very discerning not every struggle is a battle you are meant to fight. Not every delay is demonic sometimes it's Divine."

    2. Gifty, those Bible stories in the old testament are fables(fabus). They are stories to entertain just like we have our own folklores in Africa.
I'm not the first anon btw.

    3. 16:43 and 18:03 remember you are mere mortals like all mankind.

Keep raising your shoulders in pride and speaking proudly against God Almighty with that single breath He benevolently gave you.

When you sleep, you don't even know where you are yet you are here pitting your tiny intellect against the word of The Only Wise God and Ancient of Days. 🤦🏾‍♀️

  5. This is true to an extent. When Samuel was crying and interceding for Saul, God told him to stop wasting his time cos he had already rejected Saul.

But then, there were multiple instances where God intervened and showed the Israelites mercy because someone interceded. However, THEY had to FIRST cry out for mercy and show repentance.

God is a merciful God and there is no such thing as “divine cross fire” against a child of God interceding for someone else. Rather, God will reveal the truth of the matter to you, in order to be guided into the right steps to address the problem.

    2. This is the era of new life in Christ. This is the era of Jesus Christ and the new testament. Nobody who has repented genuinely will be punished in the way Mary believe. In the old testament, you will even pay for the sins of the fathers.

  6. You are very write. Her write-up doesn't make sense. There is redemption, salvation and forgiveness of sins under the same grace we all enjoy. If God uses sin to punish us that much, we all will struggle until we die. There is time for everything and each of us have our own time with God. Delayances are not denials or curses. We should be mindful. Job didn't sin against God. It was a testing and trial time for him. When it was over, we saw the glory God bestowed on him. MARY NJOKU, choose your words wisely. Not all struggles are consequences of sin, most are for test and trials cos everything that has a beginning, definitely has an end.

Do not lay hands on anyone hastily, nor share in other people’s sins; keep yourself pure.

Ama remember that not everyone is saved. Some continue in evil and wickedness, ritual killing, murder, adultery, kidnapping, raping, riotous living.

Besides, there are consequences of unconfessed and unrepented sins.

Let's use a physical example. Go and put your hand in a fire or cross the road while there are oncoming vehicles, and see if there are no consequences.
Will you say because there are fire extinguishers or brakes in cars, you won't feel the impact of a fire burn or being hit by a car ⁉️

  10. True

The easiest way to get ahead through spiritual meansy is to probe the cause or source of problems/situations

    Read 2 Samuel 21:1-14.

  11. Hmmm...What a coincidence.
In church today, in between the sermon we were taught this :

"...as some people are praying for mercy, some others are praying for justice. And when mercy diminishes, justice is served. God is a merciful and just God. He works both."

    This is deep.

  12. May God give wisdom to whoever needs it. Bad things happen to good people and vice versa. Job lost everything one by one including his health not knowing there was a deal between God and the devil over his life and if God had permitted, satan would have killed Jo; The blind man and both of his parents committed no sin yet he was blind from birth up to his manhood until Christ appeared; the man at the pool had no help for 38 years until Christ showed up; Naomi lost her husband and her sons and chose to be called a name because she thought so. But Ruth also a victim helped her change that narrative; the widow lost her husband and then her only son and would have been labelled doomed if not for Christ. If you are not Jesus, please stop writing people off. Let their Creator sort them out.

    1. Is there something else about Mary that invalidates her quotation?

Every reference you cited had a reason/cause revealed in the Bible to teach us many lessons, none of which violates the truth in what Mary said

  14. So those of us whose prayers have not been answered has secrete sin and we are paying for the consequences of our atrocities that we don't know about and those who get things seamless are safe and free from atrocious acts? Wow! Maybe they hid the numbers of atrocities that job committed in the bible.

When the grace of God finds you, you will think that others are not serving God, in thesame vain, many who get things seamless don't even care about God.

    1. @Slim Shaddy:

For every problem or challenge there is always a reason. The reason may be an outright sin, ignorance, generational issues, satanic attacks, trials, lack of capacity building, etc.

I have two particular prayer points out of many yet to be answered by God because I am still on probation.

What Mary Njoku posted is true, but not the only reason that problems persist or prayers go unanswered.

    2. Proudly foodie, maybe you didn't get her point. She is specific on the reason God has not answered their prayers. There is nothing like etc there

    3. @Slim Shaddy:

Read the bolded texts in what she said

"Before you lose sleep, pause there might be a reason heaven is silent.
‎A (1) hidden sin, a (2) consequence something you don't know and may never know"

    4. So you mean that the word of God states that what ever we are suffering today is as a result of hidden sin and the CONSEQUENCES of something?

    5. What should we say about little innocent kid who have been thought to pray for God's healing to rest on them ? Are those kids suffering because of the consequences of something and hidden sin? Like God has decided to punish them because of something?

    6. Slim Shaddy, I totally agree with your position at 20:47.
When some people get good things effortlessly, even while visibly disobeying God's commandments and in some instances don't even acknowledge His existence, they see themselves as perfect beings and consider those still struggling, as lazy, stupid or terrible sinners.
They conveniently forget that God only shows mercy to those He chooses to show mercy.
      Life is indeed unfair!

    7. @Slim Shaddy

It is easy for me to agree with you and end this discussion but I chose to reply in hope that you'll reason with me

Satan is the god of this world. The entire world and the inhabitants thereof are in his grip because it was delivered to him by Adam. Therefore the entire creation is groaning in pain waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God - Read Romans 8:18-20.

Several reasons may be responsible for persistent problems and unanswered prayers, such as generational sin, ancestral curses and ignorance or failure to restitute a wrong done in the past by someone in the blood line

Beloved, there is a solution, through Christ, to every problem that has a name. 2nd Samuel 21:1-14 illustrates this fact perfectly

As much as the earth is the LORD'S He has given it to man to rule and dominate but the first man handed over dominion to Satan; so right now everyone has a war to wage in order to break the hold and influence of the usurper in our individual lives

"My people are gone into captivity because thry lack knowledge" - Isaiah 5:13

Typos and mistakes are not intentional

  15. Why attribute delay in answered prayers to a sinful past or punishment from God because you are already successful? God is not man! So people struggling to make ends meet have all sinned against God. It is well! May God save your soul.
