Chronicle Of A Happily Divorced Woman - Part 4

One Sunday, we went to his church. We had started worshipping there so we could build our family together. The church was far from home so we took a bike.

He asked me to pay the bikeman that he’ll withdraw money with his ATM. No problem, I paid.

After service, we took a bike down to the junction where we’ll take another bike home. That’s how this man asked me to pay. With which money? Something he should have told me back home so I’ll be prepared. I emptied my handbag so he’ll see there was nothing like money inside.

But what about the money he said he’ll withdraw? He said there was no money in the ATM card. So you took us to a far church when there were same denominational churches we can worship near home?

Naso the Okada man begin fight am, before we knew what, he was nowhere to be found. The Okada man faced me and began insulting me all manner of insults. See disgrace. I begged him with all the hausa language I could speak…his fellow okada men followed me to beg him.

After insulting me some more, the man rode off.

I started trekking home with our kid. At some point, I sat down to rest. He called me to say he was already home (I was with the keys).

Hmmmm….after resting, I continued walking home. When I got there, I saw my ex eating some snacks with Pepsi. Hmmmm. But you said you didn’t have money on you? He said it was none of my business.

  1. The man is a very wicked man. How could you allow them to disgrace your wife and suffer your kids.

  2. Some stories are just too funny to believe… If he really did that, it means he was already tired of the relationship and wanted to frustrate you.

  12. If you're trapped in a loveless marriage seek therapy for you and hubby.

If it doesn't work, where the man has no love for wife.
    Please quit.

A MARRIAGE CAN WORK WITHOUT A WIFE'S LOVE.

    BUT.

A MARRIAGE CAN NEVER WORK WITHOUT A HUSBAND'S LOVE.

If he stops loving you. RUN.

  16. Hahaha! This was my ex but in my and I still paid boardedown experience, there was no kid. We went for a wedding. His friends wedding. We entered our staff bus when we were going. At the wedding, mr man had nothing to give as wedding gift. I had some money and out shame, I put some amount in an envelope and gave the couple.
After some minutes, he said we should go home. I asked him do you have transport fare for us? If you don't have, let's wait the bus that brought us. He insisted that we should go home. That was how we boarded a cab to the junction . Getting there, mr man said he doesn't have money to pay the cab man. I said do transfer and he said no money in his account ha. I opened mouth. The cab man started raising his voice. To avoid embarrassment I transferred 1k to the man. We entered another cab to the house and I still paid. Thank God I left for my sanity

  20. And you still slept in the same house with him after that?
Who taught you that it is ok to remain with a useless and wicked man in the name of marriage?
    SMH!
I have started letting my daughters to know how husbands should behave in marriage by using my very caring and loving husband as example.
I tell them that daddy pays the house rent while I add to it sometimes if he doesn't have enough, he pays their school fees and I help out if he doesn't have enough. He gives feeding money to us to buy food in the house while I add to it when I go to the market and I needed to upgrade the food..
He doesn't embarrass me in public or in the house. He doesn't beat me.
We have disagreements at home which we sort out on our own without exchanging serious insults or blows.
I have never caught him cheating and I don't cheat too.
He doesn't get drunk and come home misbehaving.
He works hard and does his utmost best for the family.
He doesn't misbehave in the neighborhood too and put his family to shame. He comports himself well.
I let them know that if a husband becomes a threat to your peace, leave him.
