NCAA Petitions Nigeria's IGP To Arrest Singer KWAM1 For Blocking Aircraft

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, has submitted an official petition to both the Attorney-General of the Federation and the Inspector-General of Police, calling for veteran Fuji musician King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known as K1 De Ultimate, to be investigated and prosecuted over an incident involving a ValueJet plane.

On Tuesday, KWAM 1 attempted to block the aircraft from taxiing after being removed from the flight for reportedly carrying a flask of alcohol.

His behaviour has been widely described as a breach of standard operational procedures and a disregard for aviation safety protoc
In a statement released on Thursday, the NCAA urged the Attorney-General and the IGP to “launch a thorough investigation into the incident.”

They also called on both offices to initiate “appropriate prosecution in accordance with the provisions of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Regulations 2023 supra and all other applicable laws.”

In addition, the Director General of Civil Aviation, Capt. Chris Najomo, has issued an advisory to the Airline Operators of Nigeria, recommending that K1 De Ultimate be placed on a No-Fly List until all investigations are concluded.

  1. I will love to see if that prosecution will make headway in this Government.I want to see how it all plays out.
If you think he won't be flying for 6months because he's been blacklisted, you still don't understand this country well😁

    1. He won't be flying for sure. It's the only thing the foolish agbero will be begged by his friends in government to do so we can all let it go.

  5. The fall of a man/woman begins when pride sets in. Drinks/water/liquid are not allowed on flights whats there to throw it away. And request for water on board the plane. Its so funny with all the herald of women he has acquired he couldn't control this one. This is the beginning of his fall n all those doing wickedness or partaking in it. It is well Amen

  7. The people that checked him in should be arrested too. How you allow someone pass with liquid when you know it is against the law.

  8. He should be arrested. It was an act of domestic terrorism and he should be dealt with strictly within the laws and without any protection from who he knows or calling in favours.

  9. Of course, he should be made to pay the price of his recklessness and total disregard for law. It's high time the elites in our society are held accountable for their bad behaviours. He should be grateful he is still alive to tell the story.
