
The policy, aimed at boosting officer welfare, was approved by President Bola Tinubu.
Tunji-Ojo revealed the initiative during the 2025 Ministerial Retreat, where he outlined the ministry’s achievements and reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening institutional performance and capacity across all agencies.
The announcement was contained in a statement signed by NPRO/Head of Corporate Services of the Federal Fire Service, DCF PO Abraham.
“The minister expressed profound appreciation to President Tinubu for his unwavering support, affirming that all agencies under the Ministry of Interior are reaping the benefits of the Renewed Hope Agenda,” the statement read.
