While speaking in a new sit down with the press, she stated that she doesn't see her current status as a negative.She also urged women to quit marrying for the wrong reasons.
She said;
"Do you just marry because people say marry
Look at divorce rates in Nigeria, it's skyrocketing, some people are married and before they leave the reception, the marriage has broken up, it's crazy.
See, for me not to have found my partner, the person I want to spend the rest of my life with,I don't see it as a negative , I've been proposed to many times and I said no, there are a lot of bullying online, people are bothered by that name.
What's the meaning of ashawo, someone that collects money for her services,is Marriage not payment for services,the way life is, you can have children at 70".
When asked about her stance on raising kids, she noted that both sons and daughters should be brought up with equal responsibility.
In her words;
"Teach your son's that their body is the temple of God same way you reach your daughters
Tell them that their lives are over, as soon as you impregnate a girl, no more school for you my dear, go and work and raise your child, no more school for the girl for nine months, no more school for you.
Am not saying that you should stay with a man that cheats, am just saying that if he's a great guy,if he's doing his duties, if you love him, he loves you and it's just that he was raised to think that it's okay to spread his seeds, be okay with it".
