Former candidate of the Social Democratic Party in the November 16, 2024, Ondo State governorship election, Bamidele Akingboye reportedly died last Wednesday at his Victoria Garden City (VGC) residence in Lagos at the age of 60 years....

The wife allegedly responsible has not been named but the Police have reportedly started their investigations into how he fell....
A source told SaharaReporters that Akingboye’s death wasn’t natural but caused by domestic violence.
The source urged security agencies to unravel the truth.
“The SDP candidate in Ondo state who recently died was killed by his wife. She allegedly killed him by pushing off the balcony,” he said.
Meanwhile images of Akingboye’s lifeless body trending online showed bruises and deep cuts on his head and neck.
The late politician had contested in the November 16, 2024 governorship election against Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Agboola Ajayi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and 12 others.
Police authorities confirmed that they had launched a discreet investigation into the case, vowing to leave no stone unturned in getting to the roots of his death.
Activists, civil society groups and concerned Nigerians have demanded a thorough investigation, with some warning against attempts to cover up the circumstances of his passing.
He is survived by his wives, children, grandchildren, and siblings.

ReplyDeleteI would have been one of the victims of death by assassin in marriage. It was baba God who saved me from the plot. My wife arranged with assassins to kill me but God exposed her and I reported her to the police. That was how the plot was aborted. One need to be very careful in marriage. If marriage is not working, please leave the marriage alone especially if there are signs of violence. May the soul of the politician not rest until it expose the killer.
