Politician Joe Igbokwe Writes On Taking Back Igboland From The Bandits

Interesting writeup ........

He wrote

''LET US TAKE BACK IGBOLAND FROM BANDITS

Any Igbo man or woman who ignores the tragic pains and tears of what happened in the South East from 2015 to 2035 is not a human being. That person has no conscience, no life, no soul, no respect for human life and dignity. For the avoidance of doubt l ask and plead with the Governor of Anambra State Professor Charles Soludo to make public the findings and the report of what Professor Odinkalu and Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu led 30 man committee from 2015 to 2025. According to Prof Soludo it has nothing to do with the quest for Biafra but simply pure criminality.

They butchered our people in hundreds and asked the families to keep quiet otherwise they will comeback to kill all them. This is for Anambra State alone. What happened in Imo, Abia, Enugu and Ebony are yet to be accounted for.

These remaining States should follow Governor Soludo’s honest example and do the needful. You cannot sweep what happened in the South East in 10 years under the carpet. Alu melu na Igboland and we are all keeping quiet. The men in the SE should wake up. If we fail to take this tragedy seriously and punish the murderers they will return again and all of us will pay the price.

It happened in 1966 to 1970 and SE lost thousands of people and unprecedented destruction. It started again in 2015 to 2025 and our people remained the casualties. I am a victim. Are there no elders in the SE?

Where are the intelligencia in Igboland, our Governors the Traditional Rulers, Professors, Industrialists, our brightest and best in diaspora, the Captains of industries etc.

Again, actions carry consequences. SE zone should not be a zone of anything goes. SE has become the most dangerous zone in Southern Nigeria and this is very sad. I thought they say we have Ako na Uche? What happened to Onye aghana nwanne ya philosophy? I will not give up on Igboland.

If all the citizens of SE keep quiet I will not keep quiet. Evil triumph when good men do nothing. The hottest part of hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of great moral crisis. Former Lagos State Commissioner of Police called ‘Tango One’ says if you see something say something''.
