The Rivers State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, says it would be happy to have Governor Siminalayi Fubara in its fold.

The reinstated Rivers APC spokesman, Darlington Nwauju, said this on Tuesday, when he featured on ‘The Morning Brief’, a programme on Channels Television.
“If I were the governor of Rivers State, on my return on Thursday, I would announce my defection to the All Progressives Congress.
“I think the governor should join the APC, and we would gladly receive the governor into our party,” Nwauju said.
He said that based on the APC’s convention, Fubara automatically becomes the party’s leader should he join its fold.
The reinstated party’s spokesman also weighed in on the administration of the Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas (rtd) in the past six months, saying that the APC in Rivers State has not called for his probe.
President Bola Tinubu and suspended Fubara are expected back in the country on Tuesday ahead of Rivers’ return to democratic rule on Thursday.

If I were Fubara and have decided to return, I will serve the remaining two years of my tenure in PDP and go home since the agreement reached includes he won't vie for a second term.
ReplyDeleteWhy will he join a party that humiliated him this much? Is it that he has no shame or so.

You are beginning to change mouth. That is why when i see you confidently vouching for Nigerian politicians here who you think are ur mentors i laugh, when i see you fighting people and being tribalistic cos of Nigerian politicians and politics, i laugh at ur naivety.
DeleteNigerian politicians have no ideals, they have no shame and they are all for themselves. Anyone of them that u see firming ‘hard guy’ and Me integrity’, it hasn’t reached a point where his interest is at stake that is why. In America, when you find a democrat, you would find that for 3 generations, his family has always been democrat, same with the republicans, but in Nigeria, today he is in Apc, tomorrow once there is threat to his political office, he would run to PDP, next tomorrow, once PDP no gree give am ticket to re run, he would jump to ADC, and the vicious cycle continues while they sacrifice our wellbeing regardless of ur tribe and religion.
Sometimes I shudder at the way you guys throw statement here that has no proof or basis. How did I engaged in tribal politics here? I supported H.E Peter Obi in the last election now makes me tribal bigot. Oh if I had supported the North or South west, then I wouldn't be tribal bigot to you.
DeleteI condemned Buhari lopsidedness and nepotism. I called on inclusive participation of all tribe to represent federal character. It's now bigotry to you. The same thing APC government is doing currently under Bola Tinubu. If I speak out about the appointment of people mainly from the southwest region now into governmental position, I'll be labelled a bigot.
The fact I supported a peaceful referendum for ethnic groups to determine their continuous existence non Nigeria became bigotry.
Recently, we saw how terrorist from the north attended a peace deal meeting with gun magazines all over his neck. They were guided by security operatives. Over here in the Eastern region, Nnamdi Kanu is still being locked up. If I condemn this now, you'll accuse me of tribal bigotry.
Pls I have asked before. Provide just one comment of my political or tribal bigotry here let everyone read. I want to see it and apologise if it's true. Stop throwing baseless and false accusations. Fighting against my people marginalization has now become bigotry to you.

You are a tribalistic individual. Don't try to act ignorant. And you do not hesitate to run down the north when opportunities arise with unpleasant stories involving unscrupulous individuals from the north.
DeleteAs usual. No facts always yarning dust. Until I see a proof of my bigotry, for now you're saying nonsense..
DeleteI won't indulge you anymore.

Any person supporting IPOB and their sister clowns are bigots.
DeleteIf you are ashamed of your ideas and leanings, change them.
Politics,what a game....
