Morayo Afolabi-Brown, the Nigerian television host, has revealed her battle with depression and suicidal thoughts.
Brown, who recently resigned as host of TVC’s Your View after 12 years, disclosed in a candid interview with Chude that she became depressed because she felt stuck in her job.
She explained that she had long harboured thoughts of quitting and moving to the next level, but did not know how to go about it until last year, when she began to gain clarity.
“I was depressed. At a point, I was suicidal. I walked on the express, hoping a car would hit me. It was that bad.
“It was when we [TVC] were ten years that I knew that it was time [for me] to go to the next thing.
"I have been harbouring that thought for a while but I didn’t know how to go about it. But last year, I got that light-bulb moment,” she explained.

Lies. She was forced to resign after denying APC her pay masters like Peter denied Jesus.
ReplyDeleteApologize to Peter Obi for all the nonsense you did for 6 yrs
She has apologised to him, don't know why Stella didn't post it,if it was the other way round she would have been the first blogger to post it.
DeleteVery biased human
Post what?Did i follow the story?
DeleteWeather you post or not it is lastly established that you have a vendetta against Nigerians, you are a sad soul.
DeleteAyam not the anonymous
She's biased not doubt.
DeleteSome of you are so pathetic, Peter Obi is not the first person to loose an election and Morayo Brown should also be ashamed if she felt trapped in a job she doesn't like, because she is not poor or lack anything.
DeleteThis evil mindset is going to cost you another election.
DeleteIdolatry is a real burden.
Congratulations Morayo, on your next chapter.
