‎Actress Maureen Solomon Knocks Two Actresses for Posting BBL Recovery Videos Online

Actress Maureen Solomon has criticized two Nollywood actresses for sharing their BBL recovery videos on social media, saying it sends the wrong message to young people. She said she has nothing against body enhancement surgery but believes posting such content online influences girls to think it’s necessary and teaches boys that it’s okay to pay for it.



‎‎She said:

‎"First of all let me put this disclaimer, I don't have and have never have anything against BBL except when it is harmful to the person or persons.

‎I have never had and never will because I believe it's your body do whatever you wish with your body it's your body but where I have a problem with it is televising it. Putting it out there on social media,your recovery. Making some certain kind of comments as an adult I feel it's okay but because we have younger generations that are coming up looking up to us, there are things we should be mindful of especially things we see.

‎So I saw this video, I am not shading anybody of two beautiful people that I love. I love them, they know I love them. I don't have a problem their body is banging I am all for it. But I have a problem when you bring it out on social media. Why? Because we all have girls that are growing up looking up to us. For crying out loud those that are influencers you have thousands of girls looking up to you copying what you do
‎You are here showing them how you are recovering from BBL how December is going to be kpo kpor how the water water nyash is going to be..... c'mon babes, ladies what are we doing?

‎We have children that we are training that they are wonderfully made, grooming to have self confidence in themselves, in who they are how they look.

‎I get that people put the video out there so they won't come for them. I get that part but there are other ways you can do that we have girls following you looking up to you. You are a big auntie to them and you are there telling them BBL is okay, if you have nyash go and pay get one. Do you know how many young girls will be saving up money to go and get one?
‎Like I said I don't have a problem with it but when the message you are passing to this children intentionally or not is that "my friend if you don't have money you can go and buy it" are we not teaching this children a different kind of confidence that is not what it is supposed to be.

‎I will be teaching my daughters like other mothers do too to have confidence in themselves and when they go on Instagram they are met with that kind of video.

‎Like I said I am not against it but there is no need bringing it to social media if we see it we know you have done it. Anybody that wants to gossip that is their business.

‎We have boys looking up to you, so tomorrow they want to marry they will take the girl to the hospital to go and do it. What is it nahhh. When you do a video to post on social media please go over it again. Whatever you put on social media it won't go ooo.
