After school(20/25years).
ReplyDeleteI believe this should be for the guys cos women no matter their age staying in a family house is no crime or buggy. As for men, at most 30yrs is ideal and maximum.
ReplyDeleteI left my family house at age 21. That was way back at the university. I never returned home to live with them afterward.

For most it would be 25, when their frontal lobes are fully developed. For those who matured early even 17 is fine
ReplyDeleteIt depends on the environment, maturity and financial independence.
ReplyDeleteIn Nigeria for instance, once they go to university, by 16-17 they should learn to depend on themselves for making a lot of decisions. For instance, which friends to hang out with, how to spend pocket money and how to concentrate on school work than partying. These decisions prep them towards bigger things that adults encounter.
Then youth service should be a time to solely depend on themselves. By then they are in their early twenties. No more mum and dad bank. They should start thinking about getting a stable job and saving for marriage and the future. No more frivolous spending.
The worst mistake some people make is going back to parents house after youth service. Please don’t make that mistake because you will now become too comfortable with thank you ma/sir whist your mate are getting on with their future.
In conclusion, I will say 23-25 years in Nigeria context.
Only when I'm married ooh 😁
ReplyDeleteIt depends on the child's progress. You can't evict them,if they're not financially empowered yet, especially if they're not constitutional nuisance. 🙄🙄🙄
ReplyDeleteFrom 30yrs...
ReplyDeleteUntil the child is financially ok
ReplyDeleteYes 👍 when they are financially stable.
DeleteUntil the child feels ready. Different people reach their milestones at different ages. So there should be no pressure
ReplyDeleteImmediately after NYSC(Nigerian System).
ReplyDeleteIf you know your onions, you're not supposed to return home, that is 2nd Childhood.
