Exactly on this day last year, I went for my normal routine tests and was told the myom had become a monster inside me........I am filled with songs of praises for God who saved me oh.....Thank you Oh Lord.

When it gets to one year that i went under the knife, I MAY assist someone with myom go through the process as well......I already helped like three serious cases.......One more as thank you Lord would be great!

INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD

I know someone stuck in a horrible marriage, her husband is very temperamental, and everyone walks on eggshells around him. Each day is filled with anxiety and fear because she doesn’t know what she would say or do that would lead to insults and beatings.

The beatings are not often, once in a while and usually unexpected, and because of the most trivial things, emotional and verbal abuse is something else. He has eroded her self-esteem with his words and all that she feels she is worthless.

This kind and cheerful person has grown into a quiet mouse always tensed, never smiling. She has also learnt the act of masking perfectly where she pretends that all is well and you can never know from her looks that she is living in her worst nightmare.

She used to have a very good job and earned well then she lost it, she has made several attempts to start a business but he has done everything to ruin her business including locking her indoors so she wouldn’t go out just to make her totally dependant on him.

He withdraws food and other privileges just to punish her when he feels like he flaunts his other women in her face. Every time she reports to the mother in law, the mother in law apologises on his behalf and tells her that he is just like his father and she is surprised that he has turned out just like the man he hated for maltreatment him when he was growing up.

This is the issue, her son is watching too and growing under the same environment, her daughter is going to think that it is okay to be treated like trash unless something breaks them out of this vicious cycle. I know that the children’s self-esteem would have been reduced to rubbles, but I can only pray that their mom finds the strength to choose herself and the kids and leave.

Not just leave but heal and repair.
Its easy to throw stones at my friends husband but he is also the product of a vicious cycle and a mother who refused to break out of an abusive situation but wears her scars and trauma like a medallion to be proud of, now another generation is stuck.

How are we raising our kids, are we breaking the cycles or we are living in denial and bleeding from our pains and trauma over our kids all in the name of “that’s how I was raised and I turned out fine”. We both know you are not fine, I am not fine, but I am healing. You can heal too if you are willing to look at yourself in the mirror and speak over your inner child, let go, and live.
We deserve to break out of the cycle so that we can raise a better generation.

Hmmmmm this is deep!!!!...Children often times turn out exactly how one or both parents are.... Domestic abuse has become so rampant in Nigeria because the Law does not punish the abusers enough.....I just remembered the Banker lady who husband used cutlass to dismember her many years back...It was a breaking stories that was both shocking and stunning!

Thank God the man i married.....

NOTORIOUS FOR JESUS
RUN RUN RUN!

I met this woman on my way to Ondo, She sat beside me in the vehicle with a small boy, not more than two years strapped to her back. I couldn’t help but notice the bruises on her arms and neck. She also looked defeated.

I was curious and concerned so I gently asked what happened, even though a part of me already knows she's running from a very abusive husband.

She told me she is running away before he killed her, he had beaten her again, and this time, she feared for her life. She was heading to Ore to meet her family, hoping they would take her in.

She also told me she had three children from her previous marriage, but this new man, her current husband, was not from her tribe. That, she said, was where the trouble began.
He would often bring another woman, a lady from his tribe, into their home. Their fights always followed those visits.

She told amidst tears that this last time he beat her so badly she thought she would die. He strangled her, So she ran.
I was so angry and kept looking at her. It took me some time to gather the strength to encourage her, I was breathing so loudly the entire time I was talking. My body was visibly shaken from her story.

I said to her, "You did well Ma'am, run and never look back, and don't accept him back because I know he will return to plead."

She may have gone back....This is my problem with this people..they always go back....I can never forget BV Flora..I know that she will be too ashamed to make contact after what she did...Please Flora, if you are reading this, I have forgiven you, I understand better now
